I actually went and tested this system after it failed to sound for the tornado warning. The rebuilt control panel is pretty impressive.
That's what my hometown's fire siren looked and sounded like. It was loud enough to be heard in other towns as well. Like up to 5 miles away.

I had no idea siren nerds were a thing. Not hating just saying.
Oh we are definitely a thing lol. We even have a yearly convention in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin where we bring a massive diesel generator, a whole bunch of sirens, and hundreds of people show up to watch/listen. That probably sounds insane or fake, but look up SirenCon and you will see. This year was the 4th annual event. I’ve yet to make it to one myself, but hopefully next year. I’ve been in the community since it was a couple dozen of us on a message board in the late 1990s and I was 9 years old, and now there are tens of thousands of people in various groups.

Hi, sorry to bother you about the siren map. Copley, Township has possibly switched their testing time to every Saturday at 12:20. The sirens for the past couple weeks have been going off late at 12:20. I rode my bike to one of the SRN’s on Saturday and it went off late. Great vid btw
