  • Basic Information:
    Siren: Sentry 10V
    Town: Belmore, Ohio (Putnam County)
    System: Putnam County Siren System
    Location: Belmore Fire Department
Tested: Every Saturday at 12:00PM & 2nd Monday at 10:00AM
    Uses: Weather/Fire Siren
    Cycle: 90 Seconds of Attack
    Other Notes:
I happened to be out in the area on a particularly windy Saturday in NW Ohio. I was in the mood for a Sentry, so I settled for this 10V in the tiny town of Belmore. Right at noon tones started dropping for the weekly pager test and the siren fired right up. Allegedly this siren was broken for a little while after getting hit by lightning, and well whoever fixed it messed up the wiring a little. Enjoy!
