  • Basic Information:
    Siren: 1st Gen FS 2001-SRNB
    Town: Pavonia, Ohio (Richland County)
    System: Richland County Siren System
    Location: 1945 Pavonia West Rd
Tested: Last Wednesday of the Month at 4:00PM
    Uses: Weather Siren
Cycle: Full Alert (Normally just a 30 second test)
    Other Notes:
After school I headed over to Richland County for the monthly test of sirens, consisting of mainly 1st Gen 2001-SRNBs. These are actually some of the first SRNBs produced. None of them even have SRNB logos on them. Tones dropped right at 4 and this rather punchy 2001 fired right up. I was really surprised when after 30 seconds it just kept going and going. It ended up doing a full three minute alert which was an awesome surprise. It seems like all of the sirens in the county did as at the end you can hear some other ones winding down in the distance. All in all a good test! Enjoy!
