Master Collection Preset Pack - Live View
Имаш ли ти сијалицу у кући, ако имаш, зашто је ниси укључио.? Ништа се не види у том мраку!
Did you ever buy it?
Yes, I have it and it is great. Size and weight are much better than the EF version. But I think I wouldn't get it, if I wouldn't need it also for video. The EF version is still great, if you don't mind the size.
I really enjoyed your video. I feel similar. I tried the leica Q system because naturally if you are in this game long enough you get that urge. But comparing even to my canon r8 with 28mm pancake it just felt like a slow and bloated dinosaur. Yes the lens is incredible but it’s not a pleasing experience to handle or operate. I will still with leica for their m series only, at least they are certain of their identity.
I do lust after a Q3. But I fear like you I might be disappointed after my R7V and G Master lenses. It's a big $ investment for a non professional too. Thanks.
The new version with 43mm looks really great, and it has an APO lens, which is interesting. Still, I go myself a Ricoh GR3 now and love it, as I can literally put it in my pocket. Obviously the files are not as great, but for 1/6th of the price, it is good enough for me.
I have “real?bags and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the luxrul we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Chanel boutique with her and no one can tell she has a fake
why u hv to put sticker on the canon logo? lol
I always put stickers on my cameras, as I don't think it is important for people to see what camera I shoot. especially for weddings, I think it is distracting for people to always look at the camera and see these huge logos on them.
Is it possible, with a firmware update, the auto focus could improve when tracking people? I'm in the market for a camera to essentially be an everyday use idea to capture moments with my family low light or bright locations. I'm upgrading from a nikon d600. The idea was to find something relatively small great all rounder. I've looked at the Sony a7c ii with a 35mm f1.4 gm lense as another option but I eventually circle back to the leica q3. If the Sony rx1r ii was ever upgraded I'd probably jump on that pretty quickly over the leica q3 but who knows if that will happen. Btw I'm a novice looking at getting something nice as a long term investment while not having to potentially carry a bunch of lenses. Any positive feedback is welcome.
If you wanna have something really pocketable, get a Ricoh GR III - they are around 1000$ and get you an everyday carry for literally anything. Or have a look at a used Leica Q(1) - I just think it is too much money for what it delivers.
You should have bought an eos m6 mk 2
Sort of a pointless exercise….
Yeah, I just pre-ordered it... hoping I'm not TOO far down the list! I'm an R5C wedding filmmaker, and while that camera is great, carrying around a v-mount rig ALL DAY is starting to really get to me. I see my Sony shooter friends and their minimalist rigs and my back immediately gets jealous, so I'm hoping the battery/heat capabilities of the R5II let me just use the new internal batteries with it. One question: Have you heard if the registered person AF feature will be available in video mode? I can see that being super useful for weddings (as you mentioned); I just hope they don't disable that for video. I'm excited about the improved AF (R5C's video AF isn't nearly as good as its photo AF) and the non-jello-y IBIS, especially as I currently run the 28-70 f/2, which is amazing... but without any IS or IBIS, I've had to get really smooth to shoot handheld. Thanks for a great video! 👊🏻
Hi Brian, Thanks for the lovely comment. I agree that Canon has a lot to catch up to when it comes to their "Flagship" which I still think is the R5 mark ii and not the R1. I have not heard if the registered person is available for video, but I really hope it is, and if not now, I think with software updates, this camera will be even better as time goes on. And for overheating, I think the new fans (and, if you like the cooling grip) will be really really good. Would be interesting though to see, if the camera can be then rigged with a bigger battery, like the Bauer taurus system which would give you a great handheld setup for weddings and no worries about the battery-life.
@@patresinger Thanks for the response! I think I heard that the R5II has vents, but not fans… this the need for the fan grip. Might be good to keep one of my R5Cs as well… 🤣
Not for now , i’ll get it when my r5 dies , it is enough for my photography clients and i was already invest in Sony ecosystem for video
Will you get it?
I pre-ordered but I am seriously considering canceling and getting a used R5c from KEH instead.
@@StarLightDotPhotos It depends on how much video you do. But honestly, I would invest in the Mark II, as it will be so much better in autofocus as the R5C, but as always, it depends, what you need.
No, I’m going to wait for the R5C ii, I’ve been spoilt with the cinema OS. I love the fact that the R5C doesn’t have ANY recording limits and doesn’t overheat in warm climates. Both of those issues alone can ruin your creativity.
@@Zacthephotographer I have heard they aren't making a successor to the R5c because it was Cannibalizing sales of their other Cinema Cameras (specifically the C70).
@@StarLightDotPhotos they need to give the c70 mark ii a full frame sensor and 8k 60 then.
I agree with some of your points, some are subjective such as button placement, but speaking about joystick actually you can touch the screen, or if you like to use EVF and change focus point there’s a function where you can move the focus point using your thumb while looking at the EVF, even if the screen goes off when using EVF, it’ll turn the screen like a Mac Track Pad, isn’t this faster than a Joystick? Just wonder. For focal length compression, the cropping won’t affect the compression, but bokeh yes, a 35mm will have shallower DOF. Not sure if you can tell a Q3 file cropped into 35mm, for me I can’t thou. But side by side comparing with my Summilux 35/1.4 both wide open you can tell the bokeh is different and if you stand at the same distance as you would with a 35mm and crop, background compression is same.
“Pointing a camera at somebody is like pointing a gun at somebody”. No, it isn’t. Silly man. I’ve been a soldier and I’m a photographer and I assure you it isn’t.
RIP Mahir😢❤
I shoot a Canon R5 daily but absolutely love using my Q2. I disliked it initially but after a couple of months I loved it.
Tired of such videos
reduce file size fro 39MP photo
Обзор без линзы это конечно сильно :)
Bought a Q3 and just sold it after 7 months for literally all these exact reasons. Phenomenal camera but just not for me.
Watching you load this camera is the closest I'll ever get to shooting one myself. But I guess a boy can dream. I have subscribed so I can watch you shoot this camera and ease my pain. In the meantime I have uploaded a video making fun of leica shooters. Please don't be mad. It was a joke.
Hey man, i get the joke about Leica, they have wonderful products but sometimes you get caught up in the hype. The M6 is my only Leica camera and I still love it (can‘T think about what it cost me as I would get mad) but it is great. And loading film is therapeutic, but not for your bank account. :-)
@@patresinger Don't get me wrong, even though I haven't taken the leica plunge... I've definitely hurt my bank account with my various camera gear hoarding lol Do you feel more obligated to go out and shoot after taking the pricey leap? I'm sure I would. If so, that would be one way to justify the purchase. Other than the amazing ergonomics and optics lol
@@nicklopro I take it around alot and shoot around 2-4 rolls of film on my weddings, as a surprise for the couple. And I love to take photos of the family with it.
Nice review, Patrick! Sometimes simple is best 👏
I think you nailed it! I'm surprised you've had difficulty getting used to rangefinder focusing - to the point that you rely on focus-peaking. I don't fully trust focus-peaking. I think it's a given that if your M Leica comes with video or auto-focusing that either the body of the camera and/or the lenses are going to get bigger. Don't wish for those features. Leica listens to its customers.
Weird. Why did you buy a 28mm if you prefer 35mm, especially after you did extensive testing with the Q2?
Shittiest reason given even after knowing what you were getting into. Own your mistakes Should've gotten gr3x if you needed a smaller equipment
Просто дурачок !
As a Leica M user for 2 decades, Q is super easy to use 😂
That camera is not for pro use. There are other options.
I bought one earlier this year and sent it back within a week. Image quality was shocking for such an expensive camera.
Great video. The macro requests seems odd tho. Macros always come in handy
A bit like saying that you purchased a very good screwdriver but it does a terrible job of hammering nails in wood.
I respect your opinion but I have to disagree on points 2 and 4 , the main problem is the price (in my opinion)
So what do you use instead, that isn't as big, that has a 35mm lens, and such a great image quality? Cause I'm looking for something similar too, and I can't. Everything is big and not easy to walk around with.
Hi Sarah, right now I am using a Fuji x100v - I am waiting for the x100vi - and one camera that is really great, is the Canon G7x mark iii, my wife uses it as a point and shot, but doesn't have the same image style as the Fuji.
Great video, the audio of the interview is bad!
Thank you for this insight.Very enlightening.
You should have rented the camera before buying
How did you screw the shure to the stand? You must have had to use another screw than the one included because neither of my shures work with the one that comes in the box.
Shutter speed definitely is a huge pain
get Apple 13 at a fraction of price. Point and shoot at $6,000 +? Nein, Danke!
Amen. Flip out screens are stupid. Just something else to worry about breaking.
q3 is a fun camera for people with means... not a professional camera, DOH!
This video has and will upset a number of Leica Q3 fanboys. Yes, it’s true… you knew all of these things before buying it and probably got trapped by the hype. Though I have to agree with you on something: a camera at that price point should have the best autofocus, better than the Sony’s, because it’s significantly more expensive than the Sony. On the other hand… I would never advise any photographer to take a fixed 28mm point and shoot camera to a wedding
Hasselblad *end of discussion.
It’s is perfectly balanced and compact. The R5 is a silly sized mirrorless, too big, can’t compare it to the Q which is way easier to run around with .
I love my x100vi
Trash. That mini pancake can’t handle the new Fuji sensors
this video reminds us all that there is no cure for idiots.
The x100v can control shutter speed with one dial? You can set F stop, ISO, and C on the front command and shutter on the rear … did I misunderstand what you meant? Apologies if so …
I really don't get the hype ...
Buyers remorse?
I would love to hear your opinion about hasselbad x2d maybe you could review it.
I have shot a view photos at an event and I will try to get it! But I already have to say, it might be the prettiest camera ever.
