JeeZuz, your presentation is excellent! Thank you for breaking down all the different models in the Yokomo drift car lineup! I'm so confused looking at their "website(s)". There are Lots of Yokomo scam sites out there PLUS, they don't have a comparison chart of their models. It's so confusing to a newbie like myself. I'm a buy-once, cry-once type of person. I'm debating between a: MST RDX2.5 kit, Redcat RDS, AE DC10, or this Yokomo SD3.0. The Yokomo seems like the top of the heap as far as parts availability long-term. I want a MST BMW E30 body for mine along with their adjustable offset mesh wheel set. Looks is high on the priority scale along with parts availability.

I bought a second model at my dirt track. I love it. But my son’s friend shatter the front end within an hour. 😂😂😂😂. I got parts on order, thanks for helping us upgrade. These rc companies r a bunch of crooks, but it is all pretty fun

there is a local hobby store near me and the owner hates people that drift RC cars. I don't even know why. But i'm glad you enjoy it and you find it challenging. I think RC drift is fun just like off road buggies. i find them both appealing. nice channel man keep it up

Looks smooth! You cant go wrong with the DC10, and I love that body. Its one heck of a value proposition for around $40.

No Cons in my opinion. I love mine ! But I will say I would of put phom in the tyers.

Im very disapointed with this car i bought it and i can only have around 5min/8 min run time at 100%. My store or Arrma cant fix the problem becasue they dont know what could it be. Im not the only one complaining about this...

I personaly prefer the brushless combos with their own setting devices. So, this one seems better than the Furitek, on this point. Otherwise, this thing maybe the best RTR mini-crawler available.👍 I would have loved having a look on the inner gears, to see how they improved them.😇

Ah man, what a good looking release! Brushless Hobbywing system, 3s outta the box, added brass, and tightened up drivetrain? All winners in my book! The bright colored wheels kinda look like a toy, but I also kinda dig them - especially that they're beadlocks!

So I put the new torq servo on my furitek fx118 per your suggestion, and I love it! Sick performance at just 6.5 volts.if i can find the space for it,im putting a ubec on it to crank it up to 8.4! I already run 3s on it,so I need the ubec.thanks for the suggestion!

Does it have good wheel speed? Similar to the FCX24 in second gear? like im wondering if it will work as a crawler and a trail rider like the FMS stuff

Great video. My son just got one and really likes it. Just a quick question, how long does it take to charge the stock battery's with the stock USB charger? So far battery has been charging for 3 hrs but charger is still blinking green which means it's still charging.

15mint playing with the hyper go and servo gets stuck without any madness have had done, it was completly new.. and now i had to order a servo upgrade.. every owners says is a teong car and i watch lot of crazy stuff with it an mine.. went to the shit in 15 mints.. i dont understand

I hate to bother you again but I took a break on this build because I'm having a problem with the servo attachment to the steering rod. It's just too far. Your video would've been more helpful as an instructional without the tires being installed so that we could see everything. I'd like to show you where my problem lies but it's not possible for me to upload images here. I'd really appreciate the assistance. Even just an image of the straight on front would be very helpful. Critically speaking, your fingers block a lot of the detail that we need to see just exactly what was done. Pull the tires, put it on a rotating stand and it would help us muchly. Please think about what you want to show instructionally. Thanks so much.

Hi great video and very informative, ive just built a mn86 g500ks kit,(gwagon) ive fitted every possible aluminum upgrade part you can get no plastic anywhere 😂😂 do you think the fusion 16 would be a good motor choice for this or would it possibly be underpowered? I don't know how you cured your brown-out probably by simply toggling the switch a few times 🤔 This most definitely did not work for me. I went from using the standard trx-4m 750mAh battery and I replaced it with a 2s 900mAh. What I did find was that both the 750mAh and the 900 mAh batteries both browned-out with 63% capacity still left in them 🤔 which I thought was strange. So having thought about it for a couple of seconds, I came to the conclusion that the fault can't be with the switch, it must be with the program in the esc. 🤔

I mostly use my rc for my dogs to chase. 99% of the time is driving through grass, now would it be better to continue using the regular tires or switch to the paddle tires? Thanks.

Only drawback is no parts support. Bought one from my local hobby shop before christmas, rear dog bone broke and cant find the parts online and my hobby shop doesnt think they can get them either. Big thumbs down from me
