Cool upgrades are always fun and keep the excitement going with your rigs.Dig those tires ,rims and foams. Rediscovered my 1/16 scale bashers by putting large crawler tires on and gearing them down. Really fun fast crusing along the large cobble stones we have here in Folsom, 12 mm hexes are soooo versatile. good times. Dig the crawlers but like to zip a little faster.
Nice video! I’ve got my optic crawling pretty good also….the break over is the biggest hang up 😅…. Yes, the optic is not a designated crawler but it does well for what it is with a few mods.
@@markcole6475 I've got the same issue, crawls amazingly, but I've gotta try and power over everything which is tricky. I really want to put F10 portals on mine but it's gonna be tricky.
Good question. The answer is that I had 3 SE motors laying around for other projects. This won't be a como rig, so the low-end control really won't make that big off a difference in this rig. I do use the Pro in my comp rigs, and it is a great motor.
@jasonh8470 Sure. A lot of these parts came from my Phoenix and VRD. The steel diffs were purchased, and I recommend those to anyone who bought the H10. RC is definitely not a cheap hobby.
@TheLilhulk1111 Isn't that the whole point? There is no box stock rig except maybe the VRD that is a good rock crawler. That's why the aftermarket companies make all those parts. If you don't like to build rigs like I do, then why are you even watching the videos?
Get away from the cement rocks and take it out on some regular trail rock rock in nature that will be at its true form if it’s going to do good or not because there’s dirt and there’s grass and there’s a whole bunch of things on true nature rock
@TheLilhulk1111 I already did that. You can watch the box stock video when I had it out on the trails. These upgrades were to specify get it to crawl better.
I just proved it can rock crawl. Is it a comp rig? No. Can you hit trails and rocks with it absolutely. I don't think you have watched much of my channel.
@@hyperc5249 yeah it’s a great rock crawler after you put three times the amount of what you paid for it into it sure good job thumbs up. This is the stage one to upgrades. I wanna see the total cost of everything. Is it worth it? Are you winning money off of it? I mean come on now I like seeing upgrades put on cars but I don’t wanna see thousand dollar axles on the RC car.
Maybe it is just not a rig for you or your collection. I have other rigs with more money in it than this one. I just think it's cool and want to be able to trail and crawl it. I will probably take it to beat the creek 2025 and run the trails and barn with it. It might be more than you would want to spend and that's OK. For me, it has a purpose for my collection as an aweome rig for that event that is good at both with OD, dig, scale looks, and good wheel speed.

great video, very informative! thank
you sir!
Thanks, you are welcome.
Curious why you opted for the HW SE vs others motors? I was thing of getting the HW Pro

I like to upgrade my rigs as much as the next guy but not to the point of doubling the cost of the car. Still a great vlog.

@@hyperc5249 That’s for sure. Unfortunately the rise in popularity of RC cars is hitting all our pockets.

This would be a great rock bouncer and that’s about as far as it goes or trail truck
It just crawled.

2300 has a far better bec
For sure. I run the Pro in my comp rigs. I already had the SE sitting around. I didn't see the need to purchase the pro in a trail/crawler.
Just run an external bec better the other the se or pro and make actual use of an. 8.4 servo. All tha powaaa

The best upgrade for this RC to make it a crawler is to get a different RC that is a crawler and not use this as one
