Cheers mate yeah those straps we used to wear similar things called snake belts the strap reminds me of them. The film issue that all I can think that the film was advanced too far without it stopping at next frame and it took me a lot of head scratching to come up with that theory. Hi Paul, fun stuff as always. Some of those old TLR's are very prone to lens flare. If the one you're using here is a keeper maybe pick up one of those 3D printed hoods for the taking lens? I picked up one for an old Rolleicord I use occasionally and it makes a big difference, plus they're very cheap, usually around $15 or so?

It's a good wee camera for me it's the angle of view that I enjoy looking through the WLF gives a whole new perspective. I have a couple of Rollei on watchlist on a local site a cord and a flex both in great condition and serviced both with flare hoods......but I'm trying to stop buying kit haha it's a hard habit to try break but if I get this one last camera I'll be fine because I can can stop anytime I want...mine is a minor painless addiction I can't imagine how folk with serious addictions cope.

It's a good choice mate sadly mine was never returned I can only assume the seller passed away 😔

@@paultaylorphotography9499 sad state of affairs I say. I hope for the best and think it's still possible for you to find a camera in a condition not far from a perfect one.

@@Nadtochy True mate I really enjoyed the zorki and was hoping for the repair but for whatever reason it's gone. I will keep looking for a good copy for sure do you have samples of your work with your zorki online

@@paultaylorphotography9499 kentmere 400 is so indiscernible from hp5.. love both'm..as well as delta 125..Kentmere 100 is more contrasty though and I guess you will love it .. give it a try

The filter is an awesome choice you get the IR look and keep the og camera in tact. You don't even need a cable release you can use the self timer. I always shoot RAW for IR but on other subjects I'll flip between raw and jpgs as suits. You're gonna love IR it's incredible and addictive. @paultaylorphotography9499 I've been absent from photography for many years. So coming back into it. You never, ever stop learning. I have xpro2 w a 50mm lens..I believe it's a 46mm..so found one, will get from Amazon and try on days off. Live In the US/Indiana and was thinking trying on some of the covered bridges in the area. Thanks for the follow up tip in shooting in RAW vs Jpeg. What kinda figured:)

Hey thanks mate yeah this is a special place for sure. The Minolta 9 is awesome I love it. Funnily enough I had a Nikon d300 for a wee while but rarely used it so sold it on I do recall it being a very capable camera. The F4 is a solid camera love it. Hey mate yeah I have a 2x and a 1.4 for the canon the 2x Ive not used for years not even sure where it is the 1.4 is definitely better even though I don't use it a lot either they were both basically there for emergency use at the paper if I was at an incident where I needed but was unable to get close enough. I found image quality from the 1.4 to be very good but the 2x in my experience was ok but definitely lost sharpness then again at such distances I was shooting with converters on the 500mm f4 heat haze and glare off the ocean didn't help. For shots like the one in this video converters would have been a good choice. You also lose a couple of stops of light so on the f4 lens the 2x converter becomes f8 etc Hope that ramble helps.

Haha hey mate so true I did 20 years in newspapers still shooting events and sport now height of day have to make best of it so flash is always good for harsh midday light. Loving infrared so many possibilities with it. Thanks for taking. A look mate

@paultaylorphotography9499 the money in sport nowadays is mind blowing. If you travelled back in time to the early 1900s and told the players, in the future you would be earning £100k a week or more, they'd think you were crazy! I used to work for sky in the early nineties, when they took over and started charging to watch events and I wasn't sure if it was a good thing or not. It has brought a ton of money into the game but that creates a big divide between top the top tier and the rest. I'd have to Google it but am I right in thinking Leeds won the last ever division 1 championship before it became the premiere league?
