Ahhh cheers mate appreciate it. Funny thing is when I told dad I'd recorded his voice he said "do I sound like a proper Yorkshireman" I said aye mate ya do. Great to catch up mate go well wherever life takes ya enjoy.
I've never met one of my mentors. He lives in Auckland and shot street portraits and I learned so much from him he recently said he stopped shooting street portraits because I was the expert now. How touching. Hope I get to meet him one day
Wonderful pictures, Paul. I really enjoyed viewing them and enjoyed your conversation between the two of you. . Thanks for sharing. I’m sorry for your loss.
Bloody Awesome buddy, it was my dad that bought me my first camera when I was 8 and on and off have had one in my hand ever since. You treasure that recording mate as I never got to say bye to the old man when he shuffled off, to this day I’m sure he did it on purpose. You can definitely see where you get your natural talent from, there’s a lot of images there that you could have taken especially the B&W. God rest his soul.
Thanks mate I’ve been falling asleep to dads voice since he checked out. He was a great story teller. He taught me well always happy to share tips and advise. Agree regarding your dad mate blokes don’t want their closest to see them go. I got Mum and my sister to go home mum was exhausted all the sleepless hours with dad she was making herself ill. Within the hour dad passed. 📷❤️
