Nice video, thank you. Started to say maybe 20 years ago this would've been a key to a career switch for me. But even then, well had just bought a house, needed to stay in the field I'm good with. Don't think the watch industry is a good mid life career change, and even if it is, the retail stores seem to be dropping off in my area. Those still around have seasoned personnel, don't need this old guy with no experience.

3 years later, and covid is still around, actually making a surge in my area. Wish you still made videos, I like them. Always fantasized about getting a job in the watch industry. Probably not all it's cracked up to be. Hope you made a full recovery with no lasting side affects.

Great video from wow 4 years ago. Yes, I've bought a couple shopnbc stinkers, didn't have to pay much, but the $$$ could have gone to servicing good watches. Had a Subdate and a DJ36, sold both, but can't say I regret buying them, just weren't for me.

Wooow, I really thought this was a Turbo because of the Rims. Don’t get me wrong, I love it, but my favorite Porsche is the 997.2 Turbo S (with the 997.1 rims, the same ones you have on your car). Happy for you though, awesome you were able to by a dream car or yours.

Just got this Grand Seiko Rikka, as its called. As soon as I saw it I also knew it was my dream watch, so I went for it as soon as I got the chance. It is just simply beautiful and understated. Precision of the movement matches the precision of the dial. Also, the dial is inspired by bamboo - it is ribbed in a way that resembles bamboo, and another detail I actally first caught sight of after buying the watch and wearing it for a few days is that, at certain angles in the light, vertical patterns emerge that create the illusion of a bamboo forrest. Simply stunning. Can't take my eyes off it.
