BEST GAME EVER! I know XDEFIANT isn’t nearly as big of a game in terms of players on the map at a time but man I kinda get a little bit of a MAG feel from it for some reason.

SVER was my favourite faction. The hockey masks the aesthetics of the battle wear really brought out character in gameplay. The sound effects were probably the best I’ve ever experienced during gameplay.

i don't think people care about the game being super realistic(feel like thats a strawman), its about the game being grounded but like come on an attacker throwing out a clone is a bit too much.

It wasn’t just the player count that was so good about mag but the way they designed the maps and team structures that enabled all players to work together to achieve mutual objectives

Still to this day no game is better than MAG for me and same for my brother. Once the servers were shut down I was left with FPS that never had as much action, complexity and team work than MAG. To this day MAG is the only FPS my brother thinks was worth playing.

The MAG intro stills get me hyped up! 10 years after haha MAG was so great. Then you would hear the music of the lobby and you we ready for some massive action

Couldn't disagree more with most of your Points. Sure lowering skillgap by decreasing ttk and the games pace would bring up more players - Bloodhunt currently struggles with the same Problem. But this also took away all the randomness of fights and felt perfect to me. Mapdesign was also aimed at getting into fights quick without wasting too much time looting, plus, by the time you mastered this game, it totally rewarded playing offensive big time! i wouldnt be able to enjoy such casual games as cod anymore after having masterpieces like this

Every year this video further ages. Now we have Nokk Cloaking, Warden's glasses seeing through smoke, Nanobots to both heal and track, R.O.U. Smoking devices, Kiba barriers... it's just too sci fi for me now

If game is good people play it not many games people like to watch and play.

Thorn and melusi is a very good strat in my opinion or thorn and aruni melusi can use her alt to slow down the enemy team which means Thor can place her alt near it and will most likely kill the enemy team trying to get in

Guys and gals, I found this over on another MAG video, but there is some hope on the horizon. On JumpSuitAscended's channel there is a video, a video of him and a few other people on a early build of an emulator. Currently it's PC only, and closed access, but final plan is to try and get it back up on the ps3, currently not possible to update it to ps4/5. There's a dupe glitch with mozzie pests that's been in siege for years

it needed a campaign centered around a battle royale in the computer

this was the game that made me stop playing Multiplayer FPS. because no other multiplayer games met the enjoyment levels i got from MAG. so rather then focusing on the good sides of newer MFPS i started focusing on the issues and so yeah i slowly got sick of FPS. in EU a while after release it started getting hard to find matches. as it slowly over time really only became playable in US timezones.

Absolutely loved this game. Hated the team killing that happened on 90 percent of the maps. Happened the most while playing as valor.

Brilliant operator. Use her all the time. Special weapon is a doozy.

Most of the gadgets in rainbow six are real or in development but several are just flat out 1. Not useful to real life warfare and 2. Not possible.

One of the best games that I didn’t truly enjoy as much as I should’ve when I had it
