- This is the first video in a series of videos on this channel where I dicuss the basics of Rainbow Six Siege. The purpose of this video and the ones that follow is to help people who are new to rainbow six siege. I don't think beginners get enough attention and hopefully I'm able to help them in some way. This video focuses on the barrel attachments in R6 and which barrel attachments you should be using.

For me I just put muzzle for DMRs, compensator for ARs and flash hider for SMGs.
Can you make a video about which operators new players should buy in terms of easy to understand/do well with gadget and weapons. I would love to see about 10 operators (five for attack/defense).
I think the struggle i had most was learning callout names. Some are very unique. For example Kafe. As a newer player i didnt even know that map had a rework

For everyone who's new to the game or has been playing for a while and still isn't comfortable with their hip fire and ADS sensitivity, here's how to find your personal sensitivity. Have you're mouse at 400dpi (it helps with achieving sensitivities that 800 or 1200 dpi can't), start by finding your hip fire sensitivity first, try to get a 180° turn to perfection, start with a 10 horizontal and vertical, if this is too slow or too fast, go up by 2 or down by 2, see how that feels, then if you feel like it's good but not perfect, go up or down by 1. Next, for your ADS sensitivity, start at 20 for your 1x magnification and 30 for your 2.5x magnification, go up or down in incroments of 5 untill you feel like 1 taps feel easier than going through butter with a hot knife. Once you feel set, make adjustments of 1-2 up or down on your ADS sensitivity untill you don't over or under shoot on your 1 taps. I hope this put you on the right path, because it certainly did for me. Have a lovely day.

i thought recoil patterns were predictable? there was a problem where ppl got lucky headshots because of the random recoil, so ubi fixed it by making guns have specific recoil patterns so that it rewards players who memorize and master the patterns
There are recoil patterns if you shoot the wall without controlling recoil you'll see it

The reason why rainbow does a bad job introducing tutorials is because it’s too technical of a game to explain. If you want to get good, you need to get creative and try it out yourself. Everyone has a different playstyle. I compare it to fighting games, the most technical video game genre. Fighting games have a rep for not having tutorials because they don’t want everyone to play the same. Thats just what i think though idk.
You know, before Y6/Y5S3, I noticed that the first shot, even while moving, actually landed ON THE LASER for the laser attachment. I think that the diamond may have actually been following the laser at some point, which was apparent on pistols and low spread SMGs, such as the MP5, that already have a small diamond. This made disabling the crosshairs in game ACTUALLY WORTHWHILE if you had a laser.
However, now in Y6, now that I finally figured out you can disable the center dot in the crosshair that they added in Shadow Legacy, I have not been able to replicate these results, making the laser attachment no longer as effective.
Its likely that at some point after Y5S2, that they patched out this special Diamon/Laser relation, nerfing a literal core attachment. If we dont have access to older versions of Siege, we may never be able to confirm this.

laser is underbarrel and isnt useful except for practicing good crosshair placement

Recoil patterns are not random, the diamond concept does not apply to R6-watch rouge 9's vid on it

Honestly a great video man I’m level 96 and knew what none of this stuff meant greatly appreciated man
Is it just me or do I find the ext. barrel worse than the supp. It doesn’t help recoil and makes your gun longer. It gives you more damage out at 20 meters plus, but unless you’re holding super long sight lines it’s pretty useless. I’m weird and use supp on most of my guns and I just get used to the recoil. Most of the time I don’t notice the damage diff cause it’s a one headshot game anyways.
Yea and it reduces your damage at close range
@@quemiraelbobo I mean at close range it usually comes down to who headshots first anyways, especially when it comes to smgs.

I've been playing siege for a while but semi new to the PC version coming from console. The gameplay feels slightly different but this video does help a lot in regards to differing between which barrels I should use for each gun.
