- The first person shooter Ready or Not has grown in popularity since being added to Steam. This has left many wondering what is ready or not? Is it worth it? Isn't it still in early access? Is ready or not even a good game? In this video I will give you an honest review of this hot new game and answer the question, should you buy Ready or Not?

I love ready or not but for all the wrong reasons.
I love how it isn't another pvp, modern military battleroyale game but a game actually focusing on the tactical swat experience.
They really put alot of effort into making it right. Like you said enemys aren't always in the same location so it doesn't become too repetative. There is a ranking system that encourages people to get better. Rather than making every enemy a bullet sponge for boring difficulty they actually spent time to make the
AI challenging.
I really hope this game finds great success and shows Indie developers that they can compete with AAA studios.
You can use "Low ready" to move 25% faster. Rebind the key in options into Shift. It's not running but it's fast enough. Also when the mission doesn't end even when you think it should end, it's probably because there's still 1 civilian somewhere.

it's a really good game but that 40 dollar price is too much for the current content we have available, 20-30 dollars seems more fair.

As someone who's played Zero Hour previously, I was mindboggled and turned away from the fact that it IS a LIVE SERVICE game with no offline mode and no team AI to command. Then, I discovered this game from the flood of positive reviews. This game has ticked every single box that I could have wanted out of ZH and so much more. Single player just feels so much more enjoyable with the command system for your team AI and just adds extra layers to a fantastic tactical cake!
That beginning was beautiful also I bought the game and I say it’s really fun
For the walking speed, Zero Hour which is another tactical game, you could control how fast you walk, it affects your accuracy, "Fast is smooth, smooth is fast." and how much noise you make.

im glad you made the ghost recon comparison because i quit for the same reason. Dumb Ai ruins a game .
And what is better the mods are starting to come
This may result in a cool community here coming from those who played games like swat 4 , insurgency , zero hour etc

I loved SWAT 4 but, I really really dislike hard games.
But I like SWAT/police games.
But as you said, it is quite overpriced.

My problem with this game, it just looks like Swat 4 with better graphics. 15 years later I'd prefer things like better AI, more operatives, more detailed planning. Things that actually matter.
This game is literally SWAT 4 but dumb down except for the graphics. I will still purchase the game to show support though because they still worked their butt off on this game! And it's very important for us gamers to support indie companies as much as we can for better quality games going forward!

In short it's more swat. Anyone who has played swat3/4 knows this a game dedicated to those games.
The game is lacking compared to swat 4. You simply have less gadgets to bring into a mission.
The maps are also too big, anyone who has played swat3/4 know that maps are big not each room feels real and well paced. RoN maps feel too big for their own good. It almost feels like its made so to have the AI More room to move. Another problem is the enemy AI. The enemy AI run faster and move faster and they have a high accuracy.
