Cav is useful though. If a cav knows how to flank and move when they're droned out, the attackers are fucked. And the interrogation greatly increases the chance of a win. If you're downed, just leave the game and rejoin so cav can't interrogate.

No, because unless you're in gold or below, you shouldn't be camping on your drones as echo, you should be anchoring in site and setting up cams as intel, and using your drones to deny plants from the other sight. Also if your anchoring you aren't leaving footprints everywhere. jackal has a good gun, smokes, a secondary shotgun, and can track down roamers, making roam clears 10x easier. And in Xv1 situations being able to track the person almost guarantees the win, because you know where they are, and can act on that info. Jackal is annoying because it completely weakens or halts a roamer/flank, and stacks odds against you in 1vX situations where odds are usually not in your favour when your defending because usually you can't hold both sights as one person.

Btw Cav nerfed a lot. Nomad added, Gridlock added, Claymores exist, her secondary Lusion isn't powerful compared to past. Also her secondary got an amno nerf 16 to 13. Also in the past her secondary was more powerful and more easy to play than Kali's CSRX 300. R.I.P cav.
If you know the map well, you can create flanks with her shotgun or her impacts to flank the enemies quickly and effectively if you don't notice them droning you out
Bruh everytime I play Blitz, Nearly every Cavs I’ve seen just run away from me like immediately (Which is the best option of course) and Most of the times I kill them pretty easily but she’s pretty deadly if you manage to lose her and don’t know where she is

One I have a bad headsets at the moment so cav is basically my weakness I literally can not hear her when her ability is active. Two bad teammates. I’m a cooper v and one the worst thing about lower ranks is that no one use their mic or want to listen to anyone, this is frustrating since it means that any team related strat is out the widow and this make it super hard to trust my teammates to watch my flank or trade. Which always result into everyone doing what ever they want. So basically, I ban her because I would be helping my rushing teammates just her not being there.

I fell like that's the point of cav, to make you drone. Dont forget the point of roaming is not to get kills but to waste time. Just droning to look for one person has distracted you from going to objective. And also dont forget you dont always have to get an antarigation, as long as you downed them, you've won.

I never worry when I see Cav on the board because 1-I'm unranked so I don't play higher levels 2-not a single cav I've come across in casual has never known how to play her. Seriously. I'm an Xbox Gold 3, and all my silver (2-3-4) friends always ban Cav, I always try to explain to them that she isn't strong and there are better bans, but they never listen to me (srry for my english, but I'm italian)

The problem isn't cav. It's the players who play cav. Even on lower ranks like bronze, they spam the pistol almost as fast as her primary auto while also lean and crouch spamming lightning fast while in cover through tight angles. It's not every cav player but some are suspiciously good for lower ranks.
One time cav flanked and knocked two of my teammates, then I got 220 points for killing her and reviving two teammates. I feel that having teammates is very powerful. I saved two peoples lives and I wasn’t doc or Finka

I choose to ban Cavi because our group isn't pro league levels of coordinated. Sometimes me and the boys just want to play unranked casually, and banning her makes that loose type of play a hell of a lot more enjoyable.

If no one else is gonna say it I am caveira is utter garbage, her kit: a lackluster pistol with extreme damage dropoff a joke of an smg and a halfway decent shotgun combined with a gadget, that every single operator can counter. I don't see her being viable any time soon if it weren't for the slight miniscule chance to pull off an interrogation no one would even think about unlocking her
Honestly, Vigil is a better roamer than Cav because he's invisible to drones, yet people prefer to play Cav over Vigil most of the time. I rarely see Vigil played as a roamer, and I definitely see Cav a lot more. Yes, Cav has silent step but she can still be spotted by a drone, where as Vigil is invisible to drones and when the screen effect shows up he could be in an adjacent room, or even above or below your drone.
We ban Caveira when we aren't a 5 stack. You only need one idiot team mate running in without droning and the whole round is lost for you. Sorry I don't want to loose games, because the matchmaking gives us, most of the time, the worst teammates.
I ban cav if I have at least 1 random on my team. They usually arent using a mic and will run off by themselves and get interrogated. When I'm with a 5 stack we never ban cav

The only reason people at higher ranks play her less is her main weapon is a pistol, they do have a really bad smg and a useful shotgun but that means in almost all fights you will use the pistol, so the reason you wont see her is the same reason you wont see Dokkeabi, it's not that their easy to counter, it's not that their gadget is weak or bad, it's all todo with their weapon choices and how a low firerate or semi auto gun is just so uneffective in the game that you would always rather pick any operator with a fully automatic weapon, the only reason you don't get killed by cav more is only because their weapon is a pistol so it's less effective than other weapons so people don't play her, the reason you might see her played by some of the best players is because she is amazing and they know they are good enough at the game to know where people will leave drones, they know the best way to flank on people, they have the ability to click fast with that semi auto weapon while still being able to land their shots or they just have a good enough aim to hit that headshot so the operator is all value based on it's power rather than a weakness due to the poor weapon Saying that the counter to Cav is drones is like saying the counter to Mute is drones or Rook is drones, drones counter everything, knowing where the enemy is is very important in this game, the only operator that really is strongly countered by drones is Tachanka due to how his gadget forces him to stand nearly perfectly still, no other operator has a real weakness to drones other than him, really it's the main reason his so bad is because how strong intel is in this game and how his gadget makes it much easier for the enemy to know your location, this is the same reason Vigil, Mute, Mozzie, and Nokk is strong, it's because their gadgets remove that intel that so many people use to win So again back to Cav, she is really strong but have bad weapons, her power is both anti intel for the enemy and intel for your teammates with making less noise and the mass ping you get if you manage to get that introgation off We all know the main reason alot of people pick operators is all todo with their weapons, very little todo with their gadget, ask anyone why they want to play Ash and they will say they like the gun, maybe they might say they like the 3 speed or being able to break stuff with the gadget but 9/10 will start their reasoning is because the gun, is that a bad thing? no, it's not at all, it's perfectly fine for people to enjoy the game and the weapons and operators that are part of it, some people will be happy to play cav and use their pistol and others would rather just play Jager enjoy their gun At the end of the day, when all drones are broken and all cams are desturyed all you have to rely are the weapons you have so be able to have faith in the gun in your hand to win that game winning firefight

The only issue is that Cav punishes you directly for a mistake your teammate made. Not many operators do that. If someone goes gung go in a random room and gets interrogated, you can't do anything about it.

I always thought cav was annoying as hell and yeah she might give you a heartattack some times but people really overestimate how easy she is to go up against. I prefer never to have one on my team tbh. It's only when I play casual that I even consider her.

you can also just counter cav by using an injured as a bait then when you see the outline upside-down thats when you know caveira is interrogating and you should strike then revive your teamate

As long as you watch your flanks, go with teammates or don't take lowkey routes you won't get ambushed

In some other occasions I wall or floor bang either cav or my teamate to stop it which is always funny since I get my reverse ff removed and the enemy cav is pissed off
The problem isn't cav. It's the players who play cav. Even on lower ranks like bronze, they spam the pistol almost as fast as her primary auto while also lean and crouch spamming lightning fast while in cover through tight angles. It's not every cav player but some are suspiciously good for lower ranks.
One time cav flanked and knocked two of my teammates, then I got 220 points for killing her and reviving two teammates. I feel that having teammates is very powerful. I saved two peoples lives and I wasn’t doc or Finka

I’ve been saying this for years. Cav is literally punished by teams doing what they’re supposed to. Any other roamer will contribute far more than her.
I only ban her because I just don't like her. She's not fun for me to play. She's not fun for me to play against.

I thought cav was op cause I used to main Gridlock ( A 3 armour) And after I droned her out I just got two tapped at full hp and I'm guessing you can assume what happened after that.
I choose to ban Cavi because our group isn't pro league levels of coordinated. Sometimes me and the boys just want to play unranked casually, and banning her makes that loose type of play a hell of a lot more enjoyable.
To be honest, I agree with you. I hate cav bans, cause she has a weak gun and she doesn't contribute to team. But if you are going for solo q in lower ranks, I understad her ban rate, because there is nothing more frustrating than having idiot teammates that don't drone and just rush in, get interrogated twice a turn and you are basically done.

If no one else is gonna say it I am caveira is utter garbage, her kit: a lackluster pistol with extreme damage dropoff a joke of an smg and a halfway decent shotgun combined with a gadget, that every single operator can counter. I don't see her being viable any time soon if it weren't for the slight miniscule chance to pull off an interrogation no one would even think about unlocking her

Nook. If cav is giveing you a lot of issues play nook. If you have a general idea of where she is use her confidence of being silent against her.
Honestly, Vigil is a better roamer than Cav because he's invisible to drones, yet people prefer to play Cav over Vigil most of the time. I rarely see Vigil played as a roamer, and I definitely see Cav a lot more. Yes, Cav has silent step but she can still be spotted by a drone, where as Vigil is invisible to drones and when the screen effect shows up he could be in an adjacent room, or even above or below your drone.
We ban Caveira when we aren't a 5 stack. You only need one idiot team mate running in without droning and the whole round is lost for you. Sorry I don't want to loose games, because the matchmaking gives us, most of the time, the worst teammates.
I ban cav if I have at least 1 random on my team. They usually arent using a mic and will run off by themselves and get interrogated. When I'm with a 5 stack we never ban cav
And yet cav players out there will say jackel should be banned when 8/10 times he easier to kill also it’s very easy to avoid drones as cav and third your talking to copper and bronzes they hardly drone cav is in my opinion worse than jackel a: because she can see people in real time b: she can see the whole team and c: her hit box and stealth make it 20 times harder to kill her while she is roaming/rotating jackel is still not a bad ban but he’s easier to counter. All in all please ban vigil he’s annoying as hell
the reason why i prefer caveira over vigil is that vigil simply cant interrogate. yeah, he cant be droned out etc but caveira can interrogate, she can give you wallhack for a pretty long time. + hiding by the doors with cav is bullshit, i roam the whole time, not waiting for players, instead of it i search for them with my silent step, whitch is another thing vigil cant do

The only reason people at higher ranks play her less is her main weapon is a pistol, they do have a really bad smg and a useful shotgun but that means in almost all fights you will use the pistol, so the reason you wont see her is the same reason you wont see Dokkeabi, it's not that their easy to counter, it's not that their gadget is weak or bad, it's all todo with their weapon choices and how a low firerate or semi auto gun is just so uneffective in the game that you would always rather pick any operator with a fully automatic weapon, the only reason you don't get killed by cav more is only because their weapon is a pistol so it's less effective than other weapons so people don't play her, the reason you might see her played by some of the best players is because she is amazing and they know they are good enough at the game to know where people will leave drones, they know the best way to flank on people, they have the ability to click fast with that semi auto weapon while still being able to land their shots or they just have a good enough aim to hit that headshot so the operator is all value based on it's power rather than a weakness due to the poor weapon
Saying that the counter to Cav is drones is like saying the counter to Mute is drones or Rook is drones, drones counter everything, knowing where the enemy is is very important in this game, the only operator that really is strongly countered by drones is Tachanka due to how his gadget forces him to stand nearly perfectly still, no other operator has a real weakness to drones other than him, really it's the main reason his so bad is because how strong intel is in this game and how his gadget makes it much easier for the enemy to know your location, this is the same reason Vigil, Mute, Mozzie, and Nokk is strong, it's because their gadgets remove that intel that so many people use to win
So again back to Cav, she is really strong but have bad weapons, her power is both anti intel for the enemy and intel for your teammates with making less noise and the mass ping you get if you manage to get that introgation off
We all know the main reason alot of people pick operators is all todo with their weapons, very little todo with their gadget, ask anyone why they want to play Ash and they will say they like the gun, maybe they might say they like the 3 speed or being able to break stuff with the gadget but 9/10 will start their reasoning is because the gun, is that a bad thing? no, it's not at all, it's perfectly fine for people to enjoy the game and the weapons and operators that are part of it, some people will be happy to play cav and use their pistol and others would rather just play Jager enjoy their gun
At the end of the day, when all drones are broken and all cams are desturyed all you have to rely are the weapons you have so be able to have faith in the gun in your hand to win that game winning firefight
I’ve never been scared of cav, my friend who got me into the game taught me the counters and told me to single her out and all that. Cav was just annoying if you have dumb teamates, ban echo people.

The only issue is that Cav punishes you directly for a mistake your teammate made. Not many operators do that. If someone goes gung go in a random room and gets interrogated, you can't do anything about it.
There’s been too many time where a team mate has run into the building and got caught by cav, revealing all of us and losing us the round. I’ve only been taken by cav a handful of times
Cav is only a good ban when people don't use mics and communicate because then she could run around freely with silent step without getting pinched
Tbf what scares me with cav is not facing her myself. It's more a random teammate going alone and getting interrogated in the other side of the map and losing us the round. That isn't enough to ban her tho, imo.
I always thought cav was annoying as hell and yeah she might give you a heartattack some times but people really overestimate how easy she is to go up against. I prefer never to have one on my team tbh. It's only when I play casual that I even consider her.

you can also just counter cav by using an injured as a bait then when you see the outline upside-down thats when you know caveira is interrogating and you should strike then revive your teamate
Another reason cav is good in lower ranks as a lot of lower players are solo or have to deal with solos. Me being a former copper now suffering in high silver solo you can't trust your randoms that are dead to watch drones and make callouts
