I'm an ESTP in MBTI and an LIE-3Te in Socionics - which is usually going to have an 8w9 enneagram type. A Number of People seem to believe ESTPs can't be LIEs which I most assuredly don't agree with. I actually think ESTP to LIE is possible but maybe rare. SLEs and LSEs are what I've mainly seen. Supposedly ESTPs are commonly found among SEEs as well.

I have been typed as one of gamma types before but doubt over it was causing trouble. When you look at it in the terms of quadra values, it really makes lot more sense. you could call me biased, (LIE btw) but Ti doms are too dogmatic and rigid for me. they're tryna tick off some imaginary boxes that do not matter and get angry over other people if those rules are not being followed. moreover, they're dead serious about it too, whereas I'm more careless about it as I know that stuff is very malleable and ever-changing. sometimes, they're way more paranoid too lmao.

What about a tangential question of whether EII or IEE makes better counselors? I’m curious how this discussion is similar or different from the EII/IEI one here.

Typed as IEI consistently, but also as INFP MBTI consistently. Confusing lol. Also Type 5w4 Enneagram. I definitely relate to pretty much everything you just said. Ive never once typed as INFJ on any MBTI test though...which is strange because arent INFJ mostly Type 5 enneagram? What a dichotomy.

I just came from your video about the differences between EIE and LIE, and you said one of the big differences is that LIE doesn't show a lot of emotions. Peterson is nowhere near as stoic as you, for example. He's also perceived as almost prophetic to a certain subsection of young men, where he'll choke up recounting stories of his impact on their lives (LIEs, I'd imagine, are less likely to have this type of relationship with their fans). EIEs (from your video) : "Want to affect the overall social sphere, they want to move towards some kind of ideology, they want to push and encourage people to feel and think a certain kind of way". I feel like this describes Peterson very well. He goes on tours, sells out arenas, and preaches about his interpretation of the biblical stories as primordial archetypes meant to guide us through our lives. I'd be interested in where exactly you see valuing of Te. Is it intrinsic? Or is it some Fe-Ni truths he's discovered and is now trying to encourage people to think about?

Crimea has a majority Russian population and was only ceded to Ukraine in 1954 as a goodwill gesture. I actually think a peace plan should recognize Crimea as being part of Russia (as it has been for 300 years). As that is what the majority of the population living there want. And maybe then Russia will make compromises and pull out of some of the areas that it captured. And at the very least, give up claims to the parts of the 4 provinces it claims but does not occupy.

I loved this video. When I first got into the world of typology, I knew I was INFP, but I believed I was 5w4 sx/sp (I tend to be people-watching, intuitively curious, and very introverted) and IEE (I was an extroverted, curious, and well-liked girl when I was a kid). As I read more about the enneagram, I saw that there was something wrong with my core motivations and I ended up finding myself as 2w1 sx/sp. Being a type 2 sx and at the same time an IEE didn't seem right to me, as it would make me much more extroverted and socially oriented than I consider myself to be. I knew I was delta quadra because of the "good and evil/right vs. wrong" divisions in my thought patterns, so yesterday I finally decided to read EII. Everything resonated with me, except the stoic face thing and the thing about being a "super caring and kind-hearted" person (which should be one of the main characteristics, so I'm a little unsure...) I only keep the stoic face if it's a place where I don't know the others. If I'm at least somewhat comfortable, I'm expressive without even realizing it or trying, it just comes naturally. I laugh easily, too. Well, I was a self-righteous moralist in my early teens. I loved my friends more than my family, but I had rules set in my mind about what was a "good friend or good person" and what wasn't. And anyone who didn't act like it, I would lash out at (I wasn't overly aggressive, but I would make my point about how wrong it was and then give the person the cold shoulder until I thought they learned their lesson). Of course, these rules applied to me as well, and when a friend made me think I had violated them, I would cry in my room and feel like the worst person in the world for days, unlovable. In my late teens, certain events made me do a 360 and I became more passive, more open-minded, more introverted, more observant and motivated to find myself. That said, I feel far from being a "kind and caring soul". I have compassion for others and I move to help them without expecting anything in return, as long as that help doesn't take up too much of my time. I am extremely stingy with my time, which is easily my biggest flaw. It is much easier for me to spend money/give my food to a homeless person every day, than to spend time volunteering at a charity that collects food to distribute to the homeless. Also, I'm not really good at comforting others, I'm more of a counselor type, but people never listen to my advice, so I eventually get tired of having the same conversation over and over again and just listen to the rant, which leaves me frustrated in parts (because 1- you're taking up my time again with something I've already taught you how to solve, 2- you're wrong here, but if I tell you that you're wrong, you'll put on a whole emotional show and I just don't have the energy for that and 3- I start to question my own character by thinking "the fact that you choose not to correct something that you condemn either shows that you don't condemn it as much as you thought, or shows a flaw in your own character"), but I end up convincing myself that going through these frustrations is necessary, because sometimes people just want to be heard and that's what a good person would do. Yes, I'm quite compassionate. Yes, I forgive very easily as long as the person apologizes. Yes, I am quite tolerant of other people's flaws; but I can see my own moral defects as clear as day, so I don't consider myself any more "caring and kind-hearted" than my sister LII, for example, or many others I know. Apart from that, EII beats everything. Do you think it can still be EII? I am a 21-year-old woman, if that matters. I used the translator too, I hope you understand.

I have a question,are Fi valuers aware whether or not they being rude to other ppl and try to be ethical or is it fe users who are mostly aware of that aspect,Also does Fi polr come off as rude and actually isn’t aware of it being rude unless someone points it out to them?Please answer this I would be very appreciated I just can’t tell whether I’m ILE or IEE even though I get typed as ILE.And with the rude part , there are times when I can come off as rude especially when I’m being objective and realistic about smt and ignoring the emotional or ethical side of things and can also come off as rude when I demand something cuz when I want something from someone I forget to ask politely and would just tell them to give it to me then I remind myself that I have to ask them so that they can lend me. Basically what I’m failing to understand is what’s really the difference between Fi creative and Fi polr.I understand the definitions in theory but when I look at myself objectively I can’t distinguish whether my behaviour is due to being Fi polr or not.Its also hard to distinguish when it comes to relationships cuz I grew up socialising with people (I struggled at first) cuz I always want to be around ppl as it’s better than being alone and I always have this anxiety of other ppl viewing me as a reject because I’m alone.Since I’ve built up social experience and been in many relationships this makes it difficult to see because I can tell whether or not other ppl like me just from their actions and based from the words they say to me especially if it’s the direct (im your friend/girlfriend),sometimes I can be clueless about the relationship I have with someone if it’s not blatantly obvious so I’ll assume that we just acquaintances and only consider us to be friends or in a romantic association if the other person says we are,if not then I never talk to those ppl unless I’m forced to for social survival if that makes sense. Also whenever I meet people I’ll talk to them for a awhile but when we get deeper I usually move on to other ppl and I stop talking to them even though we are close idk why but I forget to talk to them when we establish a close bond so to them I look like I don’t care anymore,most of my friendships also don’t last ESPECIALLY when they move away and I don’t see them anymore,if there’s no way of seeing them in person I’ll stop being interested and will end contact.Also I think this is also important to know,when it comes to romantic relationships I have this thing where I get anxiety for some reason when the behaviour of my partner stops being consistent and there’s a possibility of them not loving me anymore so I have the thoughts of just ghosting or breaking up with them (I only follow through once I find out that they actually stopped loving me),I also would ask them directly if they love me or not and also with some of my past relationships I broke up with some of them even though we going good because I just became bored or lost interest in them and became interested in someone else who I just met.Also big part about me is that I have trust issues and my trust with ppl isn’t really consistent and I can only keep on trusting someone when I’m reassured by the other person that our relationship is going well

I love that you’ve made a video about this. As an ESI, I cannot lie that the allure of making a fast and plentiful income from sugaring etc was deeply enticing. It’s the Se that makes the income and what can come with it so attractive. Using entrantress energy to influence others also feeds to the Se. But, my strong Fi halts me from ever participating in such a thing. This may apply to EII’s as well, but the fact that our morals are so strongly prevalent in us, it makes it near impossible to do. Like for example, I wouldn’t be able to get over the fact that a client was married and doing it behind his wife’s back. I may even lash out on him. Deep, intense, and real personal connections are what drive me. So short, impersonal, transactional sexual relationships for me are quite impossible to even bear or think about. I think what works better for us ESIs and EII is to be in a serious and committed relationship with our duals. For example, I’m married to my LIE husband who is 10 years older than me. It is so much more fulfilling to my Fi and moral values and how I deeply value deep, real, close, and intense personal relationships. Also my husband calls himself my sugar daddy so it’s the best of both worlds.
