@@JLyno yeah I've been trying to read more of his comics since I liked his character growing up.

I mean, the race and gender swap wasn't a problem for me because this is set in the 40s where prejudice things happen, so they probably wanted to include certain types of groups to be fair.

We can all have our own beliefs in the end of the day, but for Paul he has a bit of a comprehension problem to the point he's alienated everyone he's around. He's mostly pessimistic about things and "this" generation but there's good qualities we just got look for them in other stuff if we don't like something.

@keenestfox6376 Yeah, I realized that this generation is like this because men have been in charge for so long, and women and other people who are different want to come and share their creativity and the reason entertainment had a downgrade is because they hire people who don't read or don't know the material it's not woke in anyway it just needs better writers. Also, when it comes to children's entertainment, it's the same thing. Also, it should be up to the parent of the kid is ready to be exposed to anything that involves showing gay characters as long as the characters sexuality is not being pushed in the kids' faces. I realized when I saw how far Paul has fallen, and plus, I wanted to become a much better person and to accept the fact that's how this generation is, why it's like this, to appreciate things and not always complain about everything and have fun with what I have thank you and for other RUclipsrs that's not like that sexist piece of garbage for showing me the error of my ways and the realization.

Oh, and the Mystique being Bi comment I made I already knew she was like that the reason why it looked like I was upset when making that comment was because I was in the car it was hot and started losing my mind and it causes me to do random shit I'm not proud of and spiral out of control forgive me for that. Also, another reason why is because it's kinda confusing because it's nighcrawlers' origin now. I always thought he was Azazel and Mystique's baby, but I was wrong. Plus, I thought it would make sense for Azazel and Mystique to be a thing then for them to break up and have nightcrawler then for Mystique to find Destiny, but it is what it is and that's just life and people like geeks and gamers and Paul need to accept that's what this generation is and actually understand instead of always ranting on them with no understanding of what's really happening.

@@TheReactionMan922 You're being a bit hard on yourself, you're not "a sexist piece of trash" or anything and as a teenager you make mistakes and learn from them over time, that shouldn't really be held against you in the future. I do agree with Paul on some level with the feminism where a man gets cucked to make a woman look better in comparison in recent times, but a woman taking charge, being in a position of power, or beating a man isn't always a narrative. I think he's crying wolf over nothing because he believes a woman should be written one way for a "manly product", even though in both our generations 80's-2000's there's always been powerful female characters more than he lets on about but he chooses to be ignorant. And as for the companies they have women in charge that aren't into this stuff who want to be apart of it because it made it's way in a movie or something, which isn't a noble reason. And they've done some reprehensible things in the comics because they had issues with how comics were, so they changed it to line up with their values and what ever drama show like Gossip girl they might've watched. Even tho there are great female writers and artist out there that I respect and enjoy there works in anime, manga, and comics.

@@TheReactionMan922 About the Mystique being bi thing, she is bisexual because I think one of the most notable X-men writers Chris Clairemont wrote her as such or had a conception of it back then. But the Mystique and Destiny giving birth to Nightcrawler is a retcon and makes absolutely no sense, Azazel and Mystique are Nightcrawler's actual parents and this was a random thing some obscure writer just shoehorned in for some gay agenda honestly. Mystique was in a relationship with a man named Baron Christian Wagner(Nightcrawler's stepdad who inherited the same family name), but she was having an affair with the demon Azazel. Mystique has slept around a lot though with guys like Wolverine, Sabertooth, Azazel, and even Professor X who she's had children with all them. And Destiny is also one of Mystique's lovers and the only child they shared was Rogue who they adopted as their daughter. Sometimes Marvel they have terrible writers or mandates that come out of left field that we can pretend that's non canon like making Tony Stark adopted even though he looks exactly like his dad Howard but younger, or them acting like Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch aren't the children of Magneto even though he's heavily involved in their story and Quicksilver inheriting Magneto's silver hair.

And I wouldn't say it's corny but it's pretty cool how they have superheroes in Tmnt, since there have been versions that have shared universes with DC comics, Power rangers, and Image comics like Spawn, Savage dragon, and Invincible.

@keenestfox6376 That's only because there are too many crossovers right, it's hard to breathe. I'm just a little concerned with Justice Force consisting of a lot of people with powers being a public thing when Turtles and Mutanimals have to hide. Personally, I would've like them as something like a secret government project(especially since US have been trying to create supersoldiers for half a century). Let them be like "The Boys" mixed up with Deadpool and help people secretly, maybe even they could create a beef between Bishop and US government about not paying enough attention to alien threat.

@@flyingdutchman8093 yeah it's like two separate universes with different variants. I do recommend Armageddon games, Alliance, and some of the annuals but not anything after 100.

@@keenestfox6376 The Mothman is a red-eyed dark flying humanoid cryptid with a gigantic wingspan that was sighted in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, from year 1966 to 1967, til the Silver Bridge collapse.

A ton of things 33 years of an ongoing franchise, good games like Sonic Superstars and Frontiers, beautiful animations by Tyson Hesse or Prime despite the story, and a good comic book series that fleshes out the world after Forces. Even the recent stuff is good or has good within it.

Not to mention the hype of Sonic x Shadow Generations and Sonic 3.

@keenestfox6376 Sonic X Shadow Generations is worthless to me since it's pointless to pay a lot for the same game, but with hour of new content. Sonic The Movie 2 was a letdown for me despite giving more game aspects and (Knuckles) Wade series killed my expectations for the 3rd movie, let's hope Shadow won't be the edgelord in this one as well. I really tried to give IDW a chance, but it's so boring compared to TMNT, Transformers or any other comic I'm now reading from Marvel or DC. The comic treats us like little kids trying to surprise that Rough and Tumble are evil wasting time on flower contest. I found a community with which we are reading Archie comics and as of now after 40 issues we agreed that Penders pretty much saved the comic from being just a cheap sitcom with pointless 4th wall breaking.

@@ashesGeek Sonic x Shadow looks a lot more promising than what episode Shadow gave us. Boss battles with Biolizard(3d this time), Black Doom is back, Kingdom valley, the Space colony arc, etc. It probably won't be worth getting it when it first comes out just on a different port compared to the original Sonic generations, but so far it looks and sounds good. The Knuckles show was bad but don't think they'll make that mistakes with Sonic 3 than the limited series, apart from maybe kidifying it. But I don't blame you tho. And the Idw comics are good, but I wouldn't really use the Spring fest as a golden example since that's a one shot. I mean good examples would be the Zombot virus arc, Imposter syndrome, or Urban Warfare. But compared to current Tmnt comics that had to end because sales weren't good, I'll take Idw Sonic anyday over that. And Ken Penders is a decent writer with some good storylines, but I wouldn't say he saved the comics.

@keenestfox6376 Ah, yes, the famous IDW arcs where everybody but game characters can act like individuals and have emotions. Imagine if Marvel and DC was doing something like that, I'm sure their sellings would be a dumpster fire. And I consider that comparison with Campbell's TMNT run wrong. In that case people understood how fast the quality dropped and rightfully criticized the comics, IDW Sonic is stale and spineless, but that's exactly what fanbase needs because they don't have to think too much and just look at good art. Like, it's ironic fans bashed 2010's era for being sterile yet they praise the comic with same attitude just because "At least the pesky Freedom Fighters are finally gone forever" P.S By the way, it's not another comment "Pay respect to Freedom Fighters you smug brain dead phony company", it's just that IDW Sonic is still forgettable after 7 years of content with way too stretched out breaks between new issues. I've just got curious to see people make lists of promising comics of 2024 and while it was mostly Marvel and DC as usual I noticed people just don't care about IDW Sonic, there were only TMNT and Transformers.
