Still not eager to read IDW comics. Every time I check new issue I end up tortured with boredom of how literally nothing happens in these comics. I prefer Amy as the best female Sonic character, but the only things I remember from this issue are Eggman in a trench coat and Fedora hat and Surge looking much better with her quills down.
@keenestfox6376 To me every arc except Scrapnik Island feels soulless mainly because Sega being too much of control freaks and a lot of people felt the same. As cringey Sophie Campbell's TMNT stories could get, you gotta admit at least Nickelodeon didn't stand right behind you saying "You can't do this, you can't be creative and after all, here our 50 points of our what not to do list". You may not like this, Rise of TMNT and Mutant Mayhem, but at least Nickelodeon doesn't restrict anybody from having fun.
@@ashesGeek they may put limitations and for good reasons mostly, but the writers and artist respect and understand the characters more than Sophie Campbell and the writers from Rise do. Rise is completely different from Tmnt but I'll give it a pass(tho not better than Idw Sonic) and Sophie Campbell's run is by far uninteresting.
@keenestfox6376 so, you're calling "character development" and "moments of weakness" a good reason for limitations? OK. Yeah, tell that to fans, including myself who were mad about Sonic basically stating he's above everybody else and everyone should be good just because he said so in issue 50. Disagree that Rise is completely different from TMNT. In my perspective, if anything revolves around Ninja Turtles it's still TMNT whether I like this version or not(yes, that even includes TMNT anime, Coming out of their shells and We wish you a turtle Christmas). It's ironically funny you say Rise writers didn't understand TMNT considering most 2012 show crew went on to work on Rise, including Ant Ward and Alan Wan.
@@ashesGeek no offense but alot of people take Sonic's speech from issue 50 out of context or missed the point entirely. Was it preachy yes, but what Sonic was doing was trying to convince Surge she didn't have to fight since he was comparing her to all of his rivals that came before her where they left on good terms. And that she would rather die than be helped is nothing short of self destructive behavior. Sonic can respect her choice but also no like it either. Rise did have some people that worked on the 2012 series like Rob Paulsen as the voice director or Tigerclaw's actor voicing Splinter, similar to Satam and Underground. But it's still got nothing on the 2012 series since the characters are dramatically changed for the worse looks wise, body wise, and character wise...the only one they actually got right was honestly Michelangelo. I may not like it even if it's Tmnt, but it's not something I would recommend someone getting into the series either.
Accurate 😂
Storm may not be the brightest guy, but he knows better than to mess with Amy!
That make big chicken be afraid. From Zero Gravity. Plus they don't what hit them when Sonic, Amy and Tails back on the next race.
Like the overlays lol😅
Thanks it makes it a bit more funnier especially that close up.

That's fair but it's the beginning of a new arc and we got some villains like Clutch taking stage, so it's looking to be a nice story arc.
