Team Stage 0 is a collaborative effort between members of the Shadow of the Colossus community with extensive knowledge about the unused content and inner workings of Shadow of the Colossus. We hope to bring videos out that explore the most likely locations for the unused colossi with as much evidence as we can possibly find to back up our positions, and maybe some other stuff in the future. We hope you look forward to what this channel will soon offer.

This is a brief, Devil-fast update on our year-long hiatus and our impending return to the Shadow of the Colossus infodump limelight. All we can tell ya is to stay tuned for 'the next stage' in what is definitely a turning of pages in Shadow's development knowledge history. The elephant in the room will be addressed soon.

It amazes us too! Things have slowed down in the last few years, but we can look forward to the 20th anniversary of Shadow of the Colossus and hope for something good.

The original idea for devil was scrapped. There was an idea to put armor on its back unsure if it was ever implemented into the game. however the idea to crash and break its armor was used for the 14th colossus instead. Which had a different strategy earlier on
Fun fact evis was based on the design of a satyr. It was originally designed my shimooki. (In the early days) later to be worked on my some other guy. Anyway, evis had backwards curved horns and the lower half resembled a goat. it was designed to be the tallest colossus. The stage was never named, but it was a ruins of a mightly castle. as you can probably tell dormins model looks alot like evis. Thats because evis model was used as a base model for dormin once evis was decided to be scrapped. He was also scaled down and they added parts of other colossi onto it.
during that time when the planned game was still to be 24 Colossi , their eyes were stone-like during that period, i like to call that development period of SotC as "Stone-Eyes stage" since the Colossi models during that time haven't got their final design implemented yet, i know that there was a early trailer that was shown a Beta version of Celosia (Leo) with those stone-eyes like i called

As a tribute I went to D2 quadrant on the map and listened to Running with the Devil. By Van Halen and climbed up the save shrine located there.

Team Stage 0, what can you tell me about the original Evis model, how different was evis suppose to be if we actually got that version instead of the final boss we got.
Why this amazes me is that it just shows you every video game is much longer than we know of
@8:06: that horn is in the SOTC Remake (PS4). After you collect all the relics and open the secret wall behind the shrine, you can go down and look to the right, before you reach Dormin's sword to find the horn on the ground (i think. I can't remember if it's up by a pillar or on the floor). I always just assumed it to be an Ico easter Egg. Maybe it's both?

Not at all. There's just been things preventing us from being as productive as we'd like. Some of us have been busy with real life and others just don't have the tools to bring content in a good enough quality. Once these things change the videos will start rolling out again which will hopefully be sooner rather than later. We've got plans but just haven't been able to get them realised.

Wait a second is this how your supposed to beat him in the regular game because I always just swam to the back which is more annoying if i could simply do this it would be much easier. Can you make the collosus mount the damaged structures in the final game than jump on his face?
Well, so much for that and the "new information".
For those asking for a translation, here's the work I did using a simple transaltor camera app (anyone more versed in Japanese please feel free to correct me): "Everything is alright, Agro. Let's go." "Do not touch my horse!" When the camera pans up to the sky with no audio and a bunch of text shows up, it is the same speech Lord Emon gives about the "intersecting points" and how the Forbidden Lands work. Showing an early version of that scene without the Mask model and the effects behind it. The talk with Wander and Dormin seems mostly the same, however the app I used was **convinced** after multiple tries that after Wander asks: "Are you Dormin?" Dormin replies with : "I (we) don't understand". Instead of the final version of "Thou art correct". Again, anyone more well versed and actucally fluent feel free to help out!

I have a question. You said we have leftover codes and few texturing codes. Then what if we add some codes and textures that will revive the beta colossi and start the game? will it crash? or we can make beta colossi easily than making a whole game? (maybe it needs a lot of textures and animations and codes)
The leftover code won't allow us to add the beta colossi back into the game. All of the code, textures and animations for the unused colossi are none existent in the game files. The "code" that remains is just the sheet data. Sheet data is essentially just a list of all the textures and models belonging to each map quadrant / arena. But the textures and models themselves no longer exist. Think of the sheet data like a recipe book. We have the list of ingredients, but none of the ingredients themselves.
