I know this video is old but if you teach your video on how to solo over modes you don't have to treat the viewer like they're a beginner. It's so monotonous and it makes you scroll through the video like crazy. Chances are if you're looking up a video of how to solo over mods you're not a beginner....

It takes time to get used to it. I have that guitar. You don’t need to apply the same pressure as a regular guitar

JP jazz 3 is a great feel . I always go from JP jazz 3 to the Paul Gilbert pick to the green Kirk Hammett pick ! But mostly the JP jazz3 because it feels so nice comfortable on the thumb and finger!

I own a scalloped strat and there is no difference in the sound. Sustain might be a hair better, but other than that, it is much rougher on the fingers.

I can never press hard enough to get a barre chord. Do you thing it would make it easier?

I tried this, it works if I use the focusrite driver, but if I change to SAR, it gives me error, device not detected. Pretty sure I follow all the steps, except, the input output are not showing in the master either. Please help

Hello Gary, for me as a huge Yngwie fan I thought it is a must have to own that signature guitar. Unfortunately I had great problems not to bend the tone out of pitch when playing chords or single tones. And I also didn't made it with the High E-String which is dangerously near on the edge of the fretwire. The String would slip off the frets so often, which was very disappointing and also demotivating. In the end I had to send the guitar back and bought instead of it a Fender AM pro Strat and then I changed the pickups with the YJM signature pickups. Since than I'm happy because I found over this way the best solution for me. And thank you so much for sharing your experiences on this video! With greetings from Germany Matthias

god dam it man you are life saver! i been searching 1 weeks for this solution (capturing my whole windows output audio including asio in studio on a video content ) but i have studio one 6 (My daw ) and master io in it is different and that little thing you done with 1-4 in input/output i can't find it!!😥

Your a great guitarist i learned some yngvia not a whole song just some yngvia technique for my own stuff i tried learning a whole song from his instructional videos and man is he hard to learn from his idea of slow is seriously fast for most players he is like ill play it slow and im like thats slow holy shit lol cool man i wanted to learn this but wasn't will to go back and forth on the yngvia video to learn it cool thanks dude

6:15 Thanks! I had an old tab which suggested playing 12--7--12 on the high e instead of 12--0--0 on the high e. But after looking at the blurry video he might actually play 12--0--0. very cool video!

Omg, it’s not that Yngwie sounds like, guitar is too overdriven 🙀🙀🙀🙀🙈🙈🙈🙈. Use DOD 308 overdrive with YJM pickups from Seymour Duncan, you will be amazed, I tell ya.

The tone you're using doesn't seem to favor a clearer sound comparison. Too much treble or something.

Bought this exact guitar last year. I knew about the string spacing issue and i installed the callaham vintage narrow tremolo. Fixed the string spacing and now it plays properly! Better tremolo feel too!
