There used to be exactly two Non-alcoholic beers that taste like... beer: St Pauli's N/A and Beck's N/A. Over the past couple years, St. Pauli's has disappeared completely in SoCal, so I guess that makes Beck's N/A the Highlander (there can be only one!). So, tonight when my local liquor store was out of Beck's, I *stupidly* took a chance on a 6-pack of HORRIBLE piss water called "Athletic Mexican-style Copper". Holy sh!toles! Who the hell wants these yuppie IPA /Pale Ale/rose petal, vagina-scented craft bullsh!t beers anyway? Why can't Budweiser, for example, make a non-alcoholic beer that tastes like, uh, Budweiser? N/A Heineken is horrible, N/A Corona is crap, NA Guinness is gross... you get the idea. I've been sober for 23 years, why are they punishing me? 🤣 Give me a normal, hetero, rock and roll flavored pilsner that won't cause me to end up naked on the 805 freeway wondering who stole my kidney! Is that too much to ask?

I love the Athletic Hazy Wave IPa cause cause it's the closest thing to the Voodoo Ranger Juice Force IPA which was my beer of choice!!

How much water is needed to make that syrup? Will try with this method With the sauce pan, add water & the cinnamon sticks, turn that into a sugar syrup. Turn the fire off. Cool to room temperature. Remove the cinnamon sticks Then add brandy, ( I don't want to waste the alcohol if heated in sauce pan.) Then pour the cooled sugar syrup n brandy into the jar.

It’s surprising that O’Doul’s wasn’t reviewed. Is the Bud Zero basically the same? I haven’t found anything better than O’Doul’s in California, at least. I agree that the Clausthaler which Trader Joe’s carries, is underwhelming…Now I prefer nonalcoholic beer because it’s more healthful.

So, could this work if you premixed the fat-washed spirit with the pineapple juice first, then clarifying the cocktail in the coconut milk? I feel like that would eliminate the additional step of mixing the cocktail later and just pouring as needed.

I had the Stella on accident not realizing it was non alcoholic. I could hardly tell the difference. My top 5 in no order are: Guinness, Athletic Free Wave, Stella Artois, Sam Adams Hazy IPA and Lagunitas.
