The Best Non Alcoholic Red Wine | Tasting Review

- Let's discover the best non alcoholic red wines for all occasions. These wines pair great for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years or any Holiday or just when you feel like having a glass but without the kick.
In this non alcoholic red wine review I will be tasting four red non alcoholic wines: Leitz Zero Point Five Pinot Noir, Lussory Tempranillo, Sovi Red Blend and Yours California Red Blend. There were some hits and some misses but one of them definitely stood out as the best.
All of these wines have had their alcohol removed. Some have zero alcohol and some have minimal levels like the Leitz 0.5. Non alcoholic red wine is difficult because red wine usually has the most alcohol which adds so much to its flavor and texture so non alcoholic red wine has big shoes to fill and often requires additional flavors to balance it out. These flavors often range from dark fruits like blackberries to other flavorers like cocoa.

I don’t expect you to respond, but though I love my drinks; I’ve been wanting to find non alcoholic versions for when I want a drink… but don’t want the strong buzz/hangover or want to still be more alert (as consuming regular alcohol makes you less alert most of the time). Glad the Pinot noir was actually the best out of them all.

I love alcohol but am starting my search for non-alcoholic options for health reasons. And not just wines but all the major liquors. Honestly, what I’ve heard so far is not very inspiring. But I’ve not tasted many myself. So reserving judgment.
I just want something good enough that I CAN’T tell that I’m drinking a nonalcoholic. What do you think? Does it exist?

I think Thompson & Scott also have a red that I hope to try soon. I’m hopeful there are more promising reds out there.

Which one or these is sweet but a low bitterness? I just tried red wine for the first time tonight and it was black version red wine by mark something i think it was and i was so disappointed

Have you tried the Ariel Cab and Chardonnay made by J.Lohr? It’s won awards against alcoholic wines. Noughty apparently has a red out although I’ve not been able to find it in my city in Canada.😢

Gotta imagine their all basically a fruit juice in this case probably concord grape maybe a hint of rasp, cran or blackberries but theyve figured out how to make it have a more dry taste. Just a bunch of juice thats a bit dry with hint of vinegar in some. Or us it truly that more complex. Im not sold on it but then again i drink lol. Just was curious how this is different then a juice.
