So late to this one. LIfe happens. This is actually one spice I do have in my cupboard. I'll give it a try. I literally had a dream about infusing walnuts in woodford last night. How crazy is that. I absolutely love Barbancourt, so good!
I was wondering about this, too. They are already toasted so I wouldn’t want to burn them in an effort to dry them out. Maybe they should stay wet? I’ve also seen expensive jars of nuts in honey at Whole Foods …maybe I should cover the nuts in honey to get a bourbon honey + candied nuts? 🧐

It’s not often I get to try “same day” experiments like this. I’m making Crème fraîche right now and it will be at least a day before it’s done lol.
