Another good Gold & Guest podcast and I enjoyed the game against Hearts, in paticular the second half with the younger players from the academy, and like you thought Djed Spence played well, I feel he's been unlucky with his Spurs experience, he was bought in when Conte was there and he didn't really want him so he was never given a chance, but it was great to see him having a go and I thought worth keeping but time will tell, but I was impressed with the second half and how they all played along with our new signings

If it’s true that Djed Spence has a bit of an attitude problem, I wouldn’t be surprised if ange has been very deliberate in his comments so as not to let the guy think he’s suddenly the guy…maybe it’s just a bit of man management and see where it goes from there?

You are almost as bad as Max Rushden (it is not possible for anyone to be worse than Max) at talking about things that are of interest to you and not to another person on earth. I know i could just not listen to the pod, but i really enjoy Guest's insights and and you do have access to interesting news sources. Just please, do some self editing.

We really have to get out of this mindset that we have to play players based on past performances. Each player should be there on game on game merit not what they have done in the past. That’s probably one of the reasons why we underperform at national level, we lack a ruthless streak to drop the big players who are not performing. We did this with spurs v Liverpool champions league and now with England

I wasn’t upset or bothered by England which in itself is odd for me. But I am very excited by what happens at Spurs for the new season. This will be so exciting with the way the squad is shaping up I don’t know anyone that doesn’t wish Dele well. Massive talent and I hope he gets back to a high standard again

RE: The Copa scenes at the Hard Rock -- The US has hosted the largest WC ever with no issues. So I think it'll be fine. CONMEBOL skimped on security and fields and it showed. When the US hosted the Copa previously, it was also much better.

Just to say hi to Rob first of all. I watch everything that Aliputs out, and I really think you are the perfect co partner and love these videos that you do. Anyhow, enough smoke blowing. This is an excellent pre season chat as it is interesting to find out who is doing what so early on. I find it interesting that anyone would be a dissenter when it comes to Archie Gray. Bearing in mind, we have sent many a player into lesser teams to see how they cope with their loan spells, with far less impressive results yet still ask when and if we will see them get minutes in the first team. He has proved himself worthy of a chance to step up.

An attacking player will stand out, but that is not a team. It is a meaningless & disrespectful measure as is always biased toward the now.
