Now then, how's the build quailty on Schumacher compared to sloptastic Team Associated.. I built a TC4 years ago.The tolerances were way out of control. All the best for next year, Sean. What rate WS springs are on the car in the video?

I've got the ld2, and it is the fiddliest car I've worked on in over 30 years of racing. It's fun, I'm normally an on-roader, but it's got a lot of slop. How can I remove that? I'm thinking lots of shimming but wanted to ask first.

damn that's a very nice car. i'm just putting a LD3 together, it's my first RC car in around 35 years lol i used race with a lazer zx and optima custom special back in the day. looking forward to getting back into RC car racing for a change from FPV drone racing which i've been doing for around 10 years. shall be keeping an out eye out for your future videos to see how things progress with the car.

I got an Iwata airbrush like you suggested, she picked out some proline colors , but I’ll check out the brand you recommend next time. Would love to share the final results , it’s a bit simpler because it’s our first time, and we should be done tomorrow… I’ll see if there is a link around on here somewhere to email you the picture of the paint job you inspired and my daughter and I completed! Any shock oil/ damper/ spring adjustments suggested? Was curious to “set up sheet” link as said in video to check what he is doing. Looks like a solid concept! Might check this. I run LD1 still however.

Just curious what the weight of tranny is compared to stock trans?

Most 2wd setups even on carpet have a rear weight bias. 50:50 can be a real handful. Even just jumping, the setups are all designed to allow flight characteristics with rear bias. 4wd are very different. 50:50 is often seen on carpet. As for left to right at the rear, your motor isn't centred on the chassis. Most 2wd are slightly to the left and that will be the cause of your left side bias.

I expect the alloy motor mount bolted to a alloy gearbox all helped with cooling.

So far wich car do you prefer? The B7, or the Schumacher? I also have a B7 and try to dial it on carpet, but with not much luck. Can you share your setup?

It stops mid corner when you lean on it hard instead of carrying speed, stiffer spring, raise the inner link or make the rear link longer on the hub

I’m primarily a miniature painter and use an airbrush every day. You don’t need an expensive airbrush like an iwata or harder and Steinbeck for something like this. A non brand £20 airbrush from Amazon will do the job absolutely fine

I’m a newbie to RC racing again as I did it competitively back in the 80’s would the shock oil have a influence to weight distribution?? I mean the amount in them? if one isn’t the same as the other surly that would make a difference??

I was just wondering, could you tighten/loosen the shock collar’s to achieve a more balanced left to right weight?

I just got that scale system delivered the other day. I was quite surprised at the weight distribution. I run the brood motor fan mount centered to help the rear, but still 26g heavier on the left.
