I was going to get an ld3, but was told loads of people had issues setting it up, so was told to consider the ld2 or associated and xray equivalent. Went ld2 as I was always going to go Schumacher.
I recently switched to a Schumacher from Associated and I’ll tell you that the Schumacher car is way nicer than the Associated. Everything on my LD3 has MUCH less slop and is also a lot easier to work on compared to my B6.4. Schumacher car handles a lot better I think too, the AE cars are always so pushy and just never quite feel right to me. The B7 doesn’t really impress me and I also don’t see any of them winning much right now either. Everything that’s winning the big races right now is a Schumacher or Xray. Those would be the 2 I would go for if I was going to get a new car, imo. I find what works the best for me is the Core RC blue springs in front and green in the rear. The biggest roll bar in the front and 1 step down from the biggest in the rear. 3-hole pistons 1.5 front and 1.6 rear. 45 wt fluid in front and 40 in rear. Same tires except I use the blue compound of Splinters since they last longer. I also run the battery in the 3rd hole from the front just to neutralize the car a little bit on handling
What happened to the up coming review of the cheapy air compressor and air brush?...Was looking forward to that, is it still in the pipeline of content? I wondered if they're what you used to paint your recent shells?
I won't buy into a Schumacher, or a Team Associated , or brand of their such ilk . They're just overpriced kits at their respective higher price points 🤔 .

Some excellent information thanks! Sounds like you’ve really dialled in the car for you. Excellent

B7 is still here! I like to do mini video series on all brands :)
try the tapered yellow pistons, everyone seems to run them my way. seems to improve response but can't say how much.
In the box! thanks.
