Waffle waffle waffle, typical American!
I spray down all of my crested geckos tanks TWICE A DAY! I keep them covered all day until 7 pm. Then I’ll open it up during the night. This helps the humidity to stay where it needs to be. I also hand feed them and water them Twice a week. But I also keep food and water in the tanks. Hope this helps. Sorry for your loss.
That pheasant was like "Get away from me, you psychotic human!"😂
Looks like a little female. Great vid !
Same thing just happened to me. I've never seen baby geckos eating vermiculite before this little guy. My bf and I were trying to get the vermiculite out but the gecko just stopped reacting at some point. =( Rip
mine hasn't eaten, no matter what i feed her, i cant figure out if its because hibernation season is coming up??
How old are your iguana on that video? And how old are she/he now? Thanks, I try your method, my iguana blue, he 3 month
Oh hell, no! 😳
Is a large screen door like this still okay for an Emerald Tree Skink? I have a 40 gal I want to convert to vertical for ETS but $90 for a plastic conversion door online is just insane to me… 😭
Yea usually they come out when there isn’t much oxygen or so much waste but they will appear no matter how many times you clean the tank because. Eventually they grow in the fish tank when there is natural organism with light food and substrate they are harmless too fish but if you see them that means time too clean your fish tank they are good for the ecosystem in your tank
Did you build the bridge yourself?
What kind of branches did u use and wheee did u get them? Thanks for sharing, I have two rescues and getting so big need to update
Mine is wild who cares…
It's a very long and drawn out death for them.
Romaine lettuce causes liver failure in green iguanas it can and will kill your iguana. Don't believe me research it
I caught a deer mouse that I will be releasing. I couldn't live-feed a mouse to a snake. They are too nice and cute.
They did not do well. Got hot in the day time, and to cold at night. Not sure what i can use in my fountain tank.
Stuck at work with a lost gecko at home! Will be spending the entire night looking for him 💔
Found him in 10 minutes after dark!
Weigh in grams it better to tell
I went to a Reptile Expo and decided to get a pair of Madagascar Roaches going to Breed Them Myself got a Few Colony of Dubia Roaches
How do you heat the tanks without being able to use a top heat lamp with the glass top of the tank?
I love your honesty and transparency.
Do I put a humidity monitor inside of my terrarium or out
I have this container it's expensive I'm going to use my tub to
Thanks, this has been so helpful
I found out this year there are mosquitoe fish to purchase also!
One of these fell into my mom's abandoned pool and survived the winter some. Just a bunch of rain water and grass but it seems to be adapting reasonably well. But I feel bad it's almost certainly stuck. But he doesn't make it easy for me to rescue him anytime I try he hides I could remove all the rainwater and catch him that way but then I feel bad that I'm depriving him of the ecosystem he's gotten used to
Your fish is so healthy and pretty! Awesome setup!
interesting how cicadas sound different from different areas.
Those don't look like painted turtles. The segments on the shell are asymmetrical where a painted turtle's segments are lined up. Also the painted turtle's lower plate is plain yellow. Am I missing something?
I saw these in my aquarium, I'm still not sure if I should remove my sand (also for my axolotl's sake) but I'm worried the worms will harm them since axolotls are fragile
My brother and I caught 2 giant cuban tree frogs at my Nanny's in Sarasota Florida when we were around 10 or so and brought them home with us to Massachusetts. It's interesting everyone says not to handle them because ours were very friendly and would happily climb all over us and eat sitting in our hands (we had German shepherds and a cat as well and none of us ever had a reaction to their "toxic secretion", maybe we just got lucky but I've also heard stories of people being allergic to them and having a horrible reaction). They were great pets for us, very low maintenence, hardy, and lived about another 5-6 years with us in captivity and they were full grown when we caught them. They eventually developed cataracts in their eyes that blinded them so we had to feed them by hand, then they sadly just stopped eating and I'm assuming passed from old age/starvation. We fed them mostly crickets and nightcrawler (which they absolutely loved grabbing and shoving in their mouths haha) but I wonder if another diet would have been better for them for longevity. Thanks for the video! Found it doing some research planning on getting 2 more now that I'm moving to a bigger home and will have the room for them 😁🙏
How long does the actual egg laying process take? I *think* my female is laying, shes never dug herself into the soil like this before so I want to know when to check
did u find an answer? my crested gecko is going thru the same thing and im worried about how long she should spend laying in the ground.
@benjaminturcotte2424 nah, mine apparently just enjoys dirt naps I think 😅😂
not cool; try practicing on a chicken leg from the supermarket or something other than a live animal.
All my wild caught reptiles and amphibians where hurt. And couldn't live in the wild. I have a pair of fence lizards
the male protects the eggs and then when they hatch, everybody eats the babies...we've never see the eggs, but occasionally thee adults quit eating when I feed them. We saw a single baby fish about 18 months ago, and then it was gone. This spring we saw a single baby after about 10 days of the adults not eating when I fed them. We saved the baby and are just about ready to reintroduce it to the community tank...I did a little research because I've only dealt with guppies having offspring
These creatures are wild and should not be kept as pets. They eat a wide variety of live food which does include worms and grasshoppers, but they also enjoy bees, flies, fish, beetles, moths, larvae and more. This is why you should not keep them inside and limit their diet. Dig a pond with some small fish and plants, and if you do your research to obtain the right conditions, they will come.
The “blunt nose minnow” is actually a just a wild fathead minnow. Fathead minnows do look similar to blunt nose minnows but only male fathead minnows get those vertical white stripes on their bodies during spawning. Hope this helps:)
That squirrel is going to be hassled unfairly by the animal cops
Been searching the internet for this as I was not sure how safe it is to do, I have a 75 gallon long that has no more purpose but to take up space or be used as a over side quarantine tank for my turtles. This is so awesome!❤ thank you for this video going to post my build to help others as well.

noice! Giant hobby good work
Dude! Do a room tour!
I found your video looking for an answer as to if my calla lily will grow in water. 90% of my plants are in water and it's helped me to keep them all alive. Keeps them from being over watered when my husband helps water plants I've already watered. Did you end up having success?
Does a heater work the same?
What is he feeding her?
New silicone doesnt stick well to old silicone so you generally should reseal the entire tank
Those did not "fer sure" come off the wood and they are not "fer sure" detritus worms. There are plenty of other types of worms out there which look similar, including some which can be harmful to humans. Some types of worms can be brought in as eggs in sand, and unless you boiled the sand, filtered it, and chemically treated it, It is more likely that the worms came in on the sand than on the wood (though that is a possibility). You should locate either a vet which has experience in water-born worms, or with a fisheries biologist who has similar credentials. These little nasties could end up being a problem for your fish and turtles and even you if they are the wrong kind of worm. The fact that they came out of the sand when you stirred it up is evidence enough that they could have come in on that. Bad worm eggs can lay dormant in sand for decades and still hatch and take over the aquarium. Rinsing the sand in a bucket isn't going to be near enough to remove all harmful pathogens from the sand. If any heavy metals had been deposited in that sand, it will be there for centuries, and of course there's worms and other microbes. This stuff gets deposited by infected birds, or during storms. It's better to be safe than sorry. Find out from someone who specializes in this kind of stuff.
can't hear it
that's a thick sausage boy
