ALSO, I feel like I should say that I regularly collect from the wild wood, rocks, and botanicals; sanitize them; and use them in my bioactive exotic animal enclosures. I understand that I might get backlash for taking these resources from the wild, but if these items are bought from the store, they were also in taken from the wild at some point. This is just a financially viable way for me to provide naturalist decor for my captive animals.

Awesome finds 🙌 I do the same thing where ever I go. People usually look at me strange like what are you doing with rocks and sticks or moss and plants 🤷‍♂️ I can’t help myself I love nature and I love having a slice of the outdoors inside my home. My favorite part of keeping reptiles and other critters is setting up their enclosures naturally I hate buying those crappy fake plants or overpriced wood or cork. Specially when there’s so many awesome and amazing pieces for free right outside.

Do you have to prepare these items in anyway ? so your not bring hitchhiker pests with them? Cool finds. Your Viv wall is so impressive. I wish I had a few of those and my reptile area is as organized as your. You do good work.
