it would be helpful if you told us which banks you opened and were you in the country when you opened them?... can a person open an account online without visiting the branch in person?.. When you left the DR did the bank want to close the account? do you currently still have the DR bank account?... it suggests that a tourist coming for a 2 week trip to the DR with the paperwork can set an account up and leave after the trip and still have the bank account....is that correct?
