Peace & Blessings Fam, when U said if Ur using 3000 in the DR, is that pesos or dolllars. Do you have a dollar and pesos account at these banks?

Good day fam! The 3,000 dollars was just an example. Yes, I have both a USD and Dominican Peso account with Banreservas and having both accounts are very useful. You can get a debit card for both accounts and use it where ever. I highly recommend having both accounts. Thanks for the comment. Don't forget to like and subscribe 😉

@titeofcpt2867 That is common with the Dominican debit cards for some reason. However, Dominican credit cards have always worked in my experience, specifically my credit card with Banco Popular (pesos) and Banreservas (one card with separate dollar and peso limits). I mostly use those cards when I am outside of DR.

@@profeagayu did u have established Dominican credit before applying for a card? Also as a traveler still what address do I use 🤔?

@@titeofcpt2867 No, I did not. Each bank has its own requirements. However, the bank saw that i deposited lots of money each month and I had lots of movements on the account. That's how they determined if they were going to issue a credit card. It was a fairly fast process with Banreservas. Banco Popular was extremely slow with their process. For an address, I recommend using a friend's address if you are not living there at the moment.
