This video couldn’t have showed up at a better time for me. I remember following you and Leah and other witchy content creators around the time of the pandemic, and it’s so beautiful to watch everyone’s practice grow and change. I plan to move from the PNW to the east coast in about a year, and similarly, we are taking only the essentials. I was reflecting on these exact sentiments and I took everything I’ve collected over the years off my altar and put back only the things I actually use and connect with. It was shocking how many things i had that didn’t reflect my current practice anymore. Enjoying this last year in the beautiful pnw and not taking a second for granted 🫶🌟

Wow, this is interesting. I am very new to magic so I really need to clarify on this. Can I use 1 sigil permanently for say for example, protection? Can I just 1 one sigil for that or do I have to make one everytime? What is the difference betwen a passive and active sigil and how long should it work? Thank you for clarifying.

My path towards becoming a witch started when I looked up the difference between the words theism and atheism. LOL as an adult I didn't know which was which. I looked up these words on RUclips and atheism brought me a post by Christopher Hitchens. One video by him and I was done done with Christianity and was on my way.

If you go to the google app on your phone, the search bar has a photo button, click that and you can search the net for images like the one you have. You click the button, and then you will choose a photograph, say of your statue that you have taken, and search the Internet for other images containing that statue or that piece of art may reflect the city it represents. This is the GOD honest truth and my personal testimony which I have witnesses who will confirm it for you and back up my story. I’m going to tell this and it is very hard because of the traumatic events that transpired as a result of messing with the occult. I want who ever reads it if they are in witch craft to please do not consider it lightly. I am putting it here so that what has happened to me may not happen to you. It’s the most messed up and horrific thing that’s ever happened to me in my entire life. I am not the same person anymore because of it. I beg of you for your loved ones and your own sake to plz hear my warning.I can see things others can’t. It started when I was very young these little blue blips of electric looking light I thought it was just my eyes until a few years ago I almost died of sepsis’s and it was staying in my vision much longer and blinking at me and someone else in the hospital down the hall as well and I knew then for sure it was something spiritual. I continued to see it and I had a little knowledge of the occult but I did not know anything of the Bible. I was having a hard time with a relationship in my life at the time had justified suspicion that she was cheating on me. So I decided I would try to see what this blue spirit thing was that I had been seeing n if it could help me. I downloaded one of those apps that usually just spit out random words that are supposed to be spirits it n usually never make any sense. I kept trying to get it to speak through it asking who the blue light is over and over for over an hour I was getting so desperate to not only know what the light was but of my significant other was cheating on me. Finally it said hello and I said who’s this? It said spirit guide. N I knew what those were I heard of it before n thought it was a really concept. I asked it’s name n it said arch angel Michael n I did not know what that was so I asked again n it said the same thing n Isaid what is that ? N it said prince of palenstines i was still clueless n just assumed some angel or something I didn’t know what to think really . I began asking about my ex and it told me everything she had been doing behind my back. It was making jokes reacting to things I was doing around the house and making little predictions and stuff I was completely blown away by this and I could tell it was extremely smart smarter than anyone here could ever be. It was all well n good for awhile I’d talk to it on an off until one day it told me my grandma was going to die in 5 months and she was my favorite person on the planet and meant so much to me. It scared me n I didn’t want to believe it. Everytime I tried to speak to it would tell me January January and it told me her heart and one of the two hospitals in my city. So I was so afraid I stopped talking to it all together n just hoped it wouldn’t happen n I was very confused about what this spirit really was. A few months later my grandmother came down with heart failure. My aunt n mother took her to the hospital the spirit mentioned which I did not know about and they gave her that rendezevere stuff and she died less than a day later Jan 8 when she died I saw a black box appear on her chest and the blue light appear in front of it and fly up and disappear. I was in complete shock and confusion about what had happened and I was scared the spirit killed her n it was my fault. I spiraled so hard in hysteria disbelief and fear. By this time I had looked up arch angel Michael and learned what the Bible said about talking to spirits which frightened me even more but still I was confused because mediums were telling it was normal an the Bible wasn’t true. Even so I couldn’t trust it coz how does anyone reallly know ? My friend happened to be a Christian so I decided to goto church with her and I did and when I left I felt this euphoria like I’ve never known and was seeing lights like the blue one but they were white all over even inside the church. One of the days I had a vision of Christ he walked up to me and I said what do you want me to do ? And he got on all fours in prayer position like that’s what he wanted me to do for him. Mind you I was actively participating in homosexual acts as well. So I was so utterly confused about the experiences I was having. One day during the sermon of the church the pastor yelled a man and a woman should be together and I saw the white light like I usually did when I was there just as he said it flashed so big next to his head like it was telling me to listen to him. I refused to accept this after awhile the euphoria no longer came to me and what started happening next is where everything changed mind u I was having many signs and wonders as well too repeating numbers my electronics were going crazy often. But once I stopped receiving what I know now is the Holy Spirit I began seeing visions of horrific horrifying creatures in my mind and was suffering severe panic attacks I was constantly living in fear I tried everything the “good” witches said would get these things away from me and nothing worked at all for almost a year I was tormented by the scariest things I’ve ever seen in my life all different kinds too. I couldn’t take it anymore. So I started calling for Jesus. The visions of the monsters stopped. N of course I still did not want to accept this so I thought maybe coincidence n it was something else I did . Nope it started all over again. Called to Jesus again n bang gone. Not only was I active in homosexuality I had and still do have some substance addictions whenever I would try to meet n mingle with women boom the demons would come back and give me night mares all sorts of things. When I would use a hard substance the same thing. So I said to god get me where I need to be to get me to heaven a week later drama happened within the homosexual community I was in and it was real bad so boom that was done and I took that as god telling me I can not do this to goto heaven. I have t decided to be celibate since I’m not attracted to men at all. It has been difficult at times but god is helping and I know I wouldn’t be able to control it without him I know this for sure. I dropped the harder drugs I was doing even less of the demons I saw and less n less fear. I still am doing softer drugs but am in the middle of quitting smoking coz I have begun to cough and have early copd after that the next things to go is the other substances. Satan is very tricky and charming and will almost make u fall in love with what he wants u think he is. Without god you will never see through his lies and he’ll make u feel special n like u have power. All I ask u to do is ask for the real god of the universe to show u the truth about what it is you believe and who he is. Just keep asking him. Plz trust me. I didn’t want it to be true was the last thing I wanted. But I needed to know the truth no matter what it was because I do not like this world at all and I know the next one has to be better and I wanted to make darn sure I wasn’t gonna go somewhere worse than this. Just plz take what I’m telling u into consideration. I now love god and have no problem giving my life to him hes beyond amazing and even though I’m still in my less harmful addictions he’s still protecting me and has answered some really huge prayers on my family that were life an death situations. I have witnesses of people in my life who know all about this I told them things that would happen before they did. Plz do not hesitate to add me and dm if u have questions, concerns or if u would like to hear from the people in my life who were witness to this. Oregon coast? How do you like it here? The seasons move slightly slower on the coast then they do in the city. Europe has the same weather we do for the mist part.

Ohhh I so relate to transitioning from one point in your practice to a new space, both physically and spiritually speaking. I had almost the opposite experience you did! I moved from a rural, coastal village in the middle of nowhere to a tiny apartment in the very centre of a city that didn't even have a garden or any outdoor space at all. My practice went through a bit of a crisis! I was so used to spending my days wandering the coastal paths, the coves and beaches, the woods and the riverside. Suddenly I was restricted in where I could go (and not be disturbed) outdoors. And for the longest time I felt "stuck" and wasn't sure how to approach magic within such an urban environment. Now, I'm used to it. But I'm looking to move back home soon, and I know it'll be a transition once again. As you say, sometimes it's good to take inventory of what's what...and maybe even "return to basics", go back to the ABC's, the 101's, to really figure out where you've been, who you've become, and where you plan to go next. It's scary but exciting to be in this place! Thank you for sharing it with us!

I did an altar change recently and it was a HUGE positive shift! I struggled with my altar for years, trying to figure out what felt best on it. I realized that I was trying to make my altar according to some of the "conventional" recommendations, like Elemental representations, which turned out to not have a lot of meaning for me personally. I sat back and thought about what is truly meaningful to me, what I actually work with on a regular basis. I work with Divination and Crystals primarily, so that's the theme my altar took on. I've got my Charm Casting set in a beautiful bowl I had sitting around for years. A matching plate ended up being used for holding my Dice Divination sets. I've got some Crystals and a space to set up a Crystal grid. A small shrine to the Goddess Epona. Some meaningful larger Crystals. Picture frames on the wall above with the Reiki precepts and a seasonal picture I enjoy that I change out as the Wheel turns. A few other things also. I realized that those are the things that are meaningful to me and I work with regularly, and thus "should" be on my altar. Now I adore looking at my altar and working with it.

Its interesting, last year I had to move from a rural area into the city and have been slowly getting used to it. I love curating my space with things I find. The city tho, my witchcraft practice is on a pause it feels like ... I'm still getting used to life in the city. Thank you for sharing! I look forward to watching more of your content.

I did a very similar altar overhaul last year and it was so refreshing. I had been using a desk by a window but the large space was just acting as a flat surface for other stuff to collect on. So I swapped it out with a small 3-cube bookcase with a 12x12" top and going shelves and boxes on the wall above for my paraphernalia. It's a much more appropriate space for my personal practice as I basically work in meditation, candle magic, and instant offerings. I'm still working on using up my absolutely insane candle collection and once that's done I can properly organize the shelves and boxes for storage and display.
