For me, this is one of the most informative videos I’ve watched on honoring ancestors. I loved it and will put a lot of this info into practice! Thank you 🙂
i loved this video so much! it felt like friends having a nice lil chat! i know theyre so overdone but id love a "podcast" with you two! any long form video just chatting about stuff would be wonderful! love ya'll ♥
I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed it!! Doing a podcast together would be a dream. Hopefully soon we will live closer together and filming long form chatting content will be easier. We’ve thought about doing it digitally, but through the screen just isn’t the same as us sitting down together! Thanks for watching ❤️
32:12 my very Lutheran grandfather died when I was 11 so I didn't know him that well. But I feel like he would like me acknowledging/honoring him in my witchcraft and on Samhain and not just... when I have the time to visit his gravesite.
Are you guys from the Appalachian mountains? Im from N.C its so nice to know there are more witchy women hidden up here... sometimes it feels like they are few and far between but i think more younger girls are reclaiming it.
Dis would bea great video series. Also I know ancestors have potential 2 gain wisdom, understandin, etc. cuz my great grandmother was very strict and at first he spirit was not okay wit me bein a whytch but when she learned wit help from my grams dat I would be perfectly fine erasin her from da family tree she fixed her attitude real quick.
Did 23&me & found out I’m related to Edgar Alan Poe. Also found out my ancestors are from the witch trials from Ireland. 5th generation Cherokee on my mom’s side.
This was an amazing video! I loved how you mention Robin Wall Kimmerer! Her book is amazing! However, I thought she lived in New York state not Washington, but I could be mistaken.
Thank you! Yes, you're definitely right. I think I just assumed based on how the Pacific North West was included in her writing. Sorry for the confusion!
New World Witchery by Cory Thomas Hutchinson, and Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer!!❤️ Sorry I didn’t have these up already, thanks for asking. They’re both on Scribd as well!
This was such a wonderful video. So insightful! I was chatting along with you, felt like I was sat having a witchy discussion with friends!
Awe!!! This is SO kind, and exactly the kind of vibe we hoped to give off with this conversation. Thank you for joining us 🥰🫶🏼

6:01 thank you. I was looking for a better wording for that.
Absolutely love this and the specific mention to queer people (and others) navigating this

Leah is! There are certainly more witchy folk in Appalachia than just about anywhere. I'm from Florida though!

How peculiar... With every edit you hear the waterfall fading away in a few secs... Real witchy stuff 🐦⬛🖤
