I smiled when you showed the coasters, expecially the one with The Swan at Grasmere as that isn't far from where I live here in The Lake District.
I have wanted to visit the PNW since I was a young child and I am now nearing my crone years so hopefully I will make it across the pond one day!

Such a fun and eclectic thrifting haul! I was indeed gazing at the statue I the background. What a wonderful find. I too love going to thrift and antique stores to find what I need... there's some items out there that when you pick them up you just know they were loved and it's good to bring that energy into the home. Also, loved seeing such beautiful and familiar scenery. You landed in great area! I have a trail recommendation for that region of the coast - check out the Tahkenitch Dunes Trail. Also Sunset Bay, shore acres and cape Arago. So much beauty! Enjoy your explorations!

Ohh I recognized the style of that "tea canister" immediately! My childhood cat's ashes were put in a smaller version of that tin. (I think pet cremation services just buy these kinds of tins in bulk) So my guess is that Wyatt's family buried or scattered his ashes and then donated the container after since they probably didn't have much use for it or didn't want to hold onto it. I'm sure they'd be happy to know it found a good home ❤

The Venus de Milo or Aphrodite of Melos is an ancient Greek marble sculpture that was created during the Hellenistic period. Its exact dating is uncertain, but the modern consensus places it in the 2nd century BC, perhaps between 160 and 110 BC.
