Such a shame the mural wall now has graffti on it....Annoying and saddening.

There was another anmie with a character called Hitori Bocchi "Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu"..Fun show...but so far just the one season..shame as I rather liked it....With saying that..I visietd Japan twice last year..and during my second trip..I visited many of the reall ife locations used for this show...Including sitting on the swing Hitori is sitting on when Nijika first finds her...STARRY (real name SHELTER)..The propho locations...The steps where Hitori meet Kikuri (drunk sensei)..Hitori home neighbourhood...The locations from Ep9 on Enoshima...Including sittong the same wall the girl did and and also had an icecream!....And eat tako sendei from the same vendor...I also visited real life locations for the animes "Super CUB", "Non Non Biyori", "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid" and "Mitsuboshi Colors".

I haven't seen any comments anywhere on this. Consider Marins comfort level right up until the end. Make a note to think back on this when you eventually find out how she makes her money and it will put a completely different light on her casual fan service if you know what is involved in her job.

I totally understand thinking underage fan service is weird. The target demographic is teenage boys so its totally fine for them but other ppl will watch the show. I am shocked by how many ppl dont know what happened with her. He was near her lower lady parts. She seems very casual with her boobs but that doesnt mean that she is totally comfortable with her entire body. It's how Adam Smasher has been as far back as the original Tabletop RPG that the video game and this series was based on. His stats are so ridiculously high, featuring him in a campaign is a guarantee total party kill.

Every reactor I've watched always cuts out the early scene with Ryo standing in the rain looking at the poster on the CD shop wall. The band on the lower left is Ryo's old band, you can tell by Ryo's distinctive hairstyle in the lo-res picture. It's why she gave Kita a hard time when she suggested that wall as a background for the ProPho. I realize you have to cut stuff and I can see how easy it is to miss such a little thing but to me it's an important detail which resonates with the rest of the episode.

i'm not entirely sure fanservice is a useful word in discussing this show or manga for the most part. i feel it's more suited to describing things like panty shots and other unnecessary sexualization of female characters in stuff like shonen battle anime (especially things aimed at younger viewers) but this is an ecchi anime/manga. it may be lighter or not as intensely explicit as some others, and is still heartwarming and wholesome in many ways, but it is an intentionally horny work about a girl playing dress-up. the term fanservice diminishes the artistry and intention behind this anime/manga, flattening it into a dichotomy of "appropriate vs. inappropriate" that doesn't feel entirely appropriate to the work

love how Bocchi's reservation about having dalliances with women is just that she's not confident girls will like her 🌸🌸🌸 the thing about a lot of yuri is that it exists within a realm of possibility. sapphic relationships are met with a particular kind of scrutiny and denial whether in japan or anywhere else. often our witnessing of the possibility of romance between women *is* its existence, whether in anime, religious scripture, or the literal oldest known depiction of a human couple (bas-relief in Laussel cave c. 25,000 BCE) perhaps a better question than "are Seika and PA-san together?" is *"do we have any reason to believe they aren't?"*

The creator of Oshi No Ko apparently didn't originally intend to kill Ai, but as he was writing the story, he found that she was such a strong character that she was overshadowing everyone else, so he realized he had to kill her off.
