    patients goes through this called Florence Nightingale Effect. It's when they develop romantic or sexual feelings for the caregiver or its the other way around but feeling fade once they discharged. I'm a leukemia cancer patient and I go through this too. I do get excited seeing these cute nurses and also enjoy conversating with them and complimenting them and I also know that I won't get to be with them either since it's an unethical and an unprofessional practice but I also respect their boundaries and would never do anything inappropriate.

    Thank you for this video. I'm 30 years old and sadly, only just now on the pathway to my RN; hopefully I'll be there in 3 years and get to actually have a career FINALLY. There's SO MUCH that I want to do with this and I'm worried I'm "too old". This opened my eyes to a lot more possibilities than I even knew about! Thank you for the passion.

    Former drug addict chyming in: yes she would definitely want to crush them little drug beads. Ive seen a similar drug back in the day i think it was adderal or something similar. And it came like that inside of a capsule and you could easily crush them and snort them. Idk what jackie was snorting tho because ive never seen any pain meds that come like that and ive done ALOT of pain meds back in my day.

    VASCULAR ACCESS NURSING is the bomb!! LOW STRESS and it's still challenging, and best of all, you are not responsible for full care of patients! I started out as an ER RN, lasted one year full time and got burnt out from all the psych patients and just being the punching bag for patients and their families in general, went back to EMS full time and stayed per diem in nursing in the ED for another 6 years before I said F this (I wanted to just do pediatric ER, but those are too far away). Did Vascular access nursing and loved it, and did it per diem while staying in EMS full time. Decided I "was loosing my nursing skills" so I decided to try maternal child health because I thought that was my niche. HATED labor and delivery, I never realized more of L and D nursing is not helping to deliver the baby, but more getting them there safely. I then switched to Postpartum and that was meh, it was then I realized maybe typical bedside nursing was just not for me, and that the nursing skills I felt like I was loosing, I didn't really want to use anyway. By the grace of god I found a 32 hour a week vascular access nursing job in a hospital that pays fairly well, and they are very well respected within the hospital. I found my niche finally, I don't know that I will still want to be running around the hospital in ten plus years, but this hospital will help pay for my master's degree so that will be my total out if I decide I don't want to care for patients directly anymore in the future, or I may choose to go back to EMS full time in a few years... who knows.. Just be patient with your job search, You will eventually find your place.

    RE: origin of "white supremacy" is likely the idea of "manifest destiny" in early 1800"s. The Christian sect of Calvinism were the puritans and first settlers. The belief that "elect" and "predestined" people are chosen for salvation by God before the creation of the world. This idea was later coined "manifest destiny" by John O Sullivan. This belief gave reason to make themselves "entitled" to settle the entire land. Of course every sin of man contributed as well. Peace

    Most drug research company's often can get government funding and or donations for the research, hospitals and colleges also take government funding yet for some reason everything is still expensive and drug companies get to hold one to "their" patents.

  • @007Strings007
    @007Strings007 Год назад

    The problem lies with the colleges and the hospitals not the insurance companies. Collages prices are bias and hospitals want more then what is reasonable. Insurance companies are obligated to pay for stuff that you have coverage for mean the hospital can make them pay whatever price they can get away with.

IT... IS....A... T.V. SHOW. good grief. it's a decent show and EDDIE FALCO is a really talented actress. it's showing the value of her character so we the audience can connect with her character that's how that works.

There is a bill in the house to change this. Authentic CRT seeks to uncover and remedy these inequities causes by systemic racism.

He's a man who knew he could have given his life to fight in Afganistan, Served our country...came home and studied his butt off, took the state exams, is a daddy...and gets fired over such an innocent matter without first giving a written reprimand and most employers give a 3 strikes your out policy. Sounds like HIS rights were violated. Poor Joshua and his wife and children.
