“Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of God's children. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.
There's so much that we cannot understand until we take the time to understand why people feel the way they do. I invite you to sit with Swardiq Mayanja (Nurse Q) as we talk about the emotional tribulation that he has experienced with the police brutality currently being publicized. We talk about the sad stories that leave us outraged like the death of Tamir Rice a 12yr old child playing with a toy gun (I misspoke on the podcast and said he was 8yrs old) who was shot and killed, as well as the death of ahmaud arbery and a few others in comparison of the handling of the deaths at Kyle Rittenhouse's AR-15 style rifle.
We start off with a fun quiz about current state of Black and White Americans before we dive into the injustice being witnessed.
ACLED Data of the peaceful protests have shown that the protests have been 95% peaceful. Is that what you've been led to believe?

What's your stake in this? What is your vested interest in this? To me this has nothing to do with BLM. For me this has everything to do with self-defense, individualism and angry mobs being deprived of the opportunity to illegally damage property and injure enemies. So where do you stand? Are you a supporter of the principles of self-defense and individualism? Are you okay with property owners standing as Sentinels against those that would loot and burn? Are you okay with property owners standing on their roofs with guns ready to shoot those that are in the act of arson of an occupied structure? Or are you on the other side and find it distasteful that someone would protect their property? Do you like the idea of an angry mob satisfying their anger by stomping and punching folks to their heart's content?
