    Hi, I really liked the details of your video. It's very helpful. Any idea can I pay with bookmyforex card in agoda for hotels and klook for outings? And if I don't have any credit or debit card with zero foreign mark up charges and I am planning to use normal debit or credit card which is better to pay in indian rupees or MYR for online hotel and outing bookings from India itself? I am planning the trip in November first week, hope the weather will be fine. And also the layover is around 1hr 40mins or 2hrs 40mins with Air Asia transfer coverage. So is it enough time as I will be travelling with my aged parents. And I also saw somewhere additional tourist tax we need to pay at the hotel. Can you tell about that?

    • @TheUrbanNomad
      @TheUrbanNomad 9 дней назад

      First of all, thank you! I hope you will find other episodes of the series useful as well! Let me try to address your queries! > In case you have option to pay in INR, its better to use that! > November should be nice time to visit. > I would suggest 2hr 40 min layover one! Other one will be too tight! Specially if you need to change terminals. Ours was 2 hr 50 mins. > I have not paid anything extra to hotel other than booking value! if taxes are charged, that should be included when you book the property! Only exception is George Town, Penang! We stayed in the colonial quarter and had to pay a little Heritage Tax! > I have not used BookMyForex card, so have no idea on that point! Sorry!

    Hi @The Urban Nomad, thanks for the detailed video. I am planning a similar trip in the last week of July 2024 and my journey is directly to Langkawi (layover at Singapore), and then later to Kuala Lumpur. I still don't have to worry about an e-visa and can directly go to Langkawi and ensure the fulfillment of the criteria and provide supporting documents as mentioned in the Embassy Portal, correct?. Please confirm.

      Hi, I am glad that you enjoyed the video! Langkawi is an international airport and I hope immigration rules are the same there as well! But it may be worth confirming with them by sending an email. Have a great trip and travel safe!

    From Langkawi to penang you go by air or some other media.

    • @TheUrbanNomad
      @TheUrbanNomad 18 дней назад

      You can go by Ferry + Train/Bus + Ferry also. But that is time consuming and a lot of hassle! The flight price is almost the same!

      Congratulations in advance, Wasim! The monsoon typically lasts till the end of October in Langkawi! This may be a spoiler if you are looking for outdoor activities! Keep a day or two extra in that case! Otherwise you may consider visiting East Malaysia i.e. Borneo side!

    1. How many days in advance is it recommended to book flight tickets from India to get good deals? Iam planning to fly from Bangalore to KL through Air Asia. 2. Since, my flight tickets will be prebooked from India and I will pay at property for hotels, How much money or cash in INR would be sufficient for my 4 nights or 5 days trip to Kuala Lumpur. We are 3 people. The activities I might do out there is to visit KL Tower or Petronas Observation Desk, Visit KLCC Aquaria, Batu Caves,Genting Highlands and if time permits, Day trip to Melaka through a tour operator.. Iam planning to go for a mix of Metro, Bus and Grab for transport. Thanks in advance

      Hi Hitesh, I also travelled from Bangalore! Let me try to answer one by one! 1) Sooner is better! I booked one month in advance and got good price! 2) If you are planning to pay at property by cash, then make total of the estimated hotel booking charges and convert accordingly . For us we are a familiy of 3 and cost was 45K per head other than flight for 9 day trip! I paid mostly online and by card. in KL we stayed in AirBnB and it is better than hotel! Since you are family of 3, grab will be often value for money than bus or metro! cab is cheap in KL You may find all valuable information and tips to plan your trip in this video ruclips.net/video/ls1XOLw0Rc0/видео.htmlsi=r76Z6qL6Pnra_E_7
