Hardly we find travelogues in English in India... The commentary was awesome... Hope to go there sometime if we happen to visit gokarna, murudeshwar, malvante beach....( A stay of a day Or two will be good in murudeshwar perhaps to get a better vibe of the place, what do you suggest!!!)
Does jog falls fall in this road map or a bit offbeat?
Kindly Suggest two or more spots which can be covered in coastal karnataka road trail ending up at Mangalore...

Thank you so much! Yes, it will be worth it to spend a night in Murudeshwar especially fi you visit between October and March! If you are travelling from/to Bangalore, taking the Sivmogga route will allow to to visit Jog Falls as well! The route will be a little longer but worth considering!
In the coastal Karnataka trip, you can cover Ankola , Hannovar etc which are offbeat! In fact, if you want to explore beyond the sea, including Sakleshpur or Chikmangalore will give nice flavours of Western Ghat!
