You gave the family great Malnad experience. Drive safely. Roads were good. Day time. Scenic. Others should do this. Instead of highways and dhabas. Wonderful. Though you took the long route. Good fun. All the best. 👌
Hi, Thanks for the video, it is very useful as we are planning for a trip. How much steepy are these ghat roads , do we have any narrow hairpin roads which are difficult to drive as I am not experienced to drive on ghat roads
How are the roads from Mangalore to coorg , do we have any steep dhat roads that driving will be a difficulty Do you have any video vlog for this route.
Sorry, I have not travelled to Coorg from Mangalore! But in general, some parts of Coorg ( not all) could be challenging for someone new to hill driving!
Hello Bro - we are going to Dharmasthala from Bangalore. Google showing via Shiradi ghat . Should we take Shiradi ghat or via Charmady ghat . Please advise based on your experience.
If you want an easy and peaceful drive then Shiradi ghat! But if you are looking for a scenic drive then Charmadi! But later will be tougher than Shiradi.
You can! But I would not recommend it as some stretches are not completed and have a lot of potholes! It may be difficult to navigate in the dark on a bike!
Hello sir, could you please suggest which ghat road would be easy to cross, shiradi or charmandi ,to reach udupi. I don’t have much experience on hill road driving 😅
Shiradi is the easiest of all options for Udupi! Even with not much experience with ghat roads, you should be able to do this! Some stretches are in bad conditions but the rest are fine!
Nitin Ghadkariji constructs highly complex , complicated roads at rugged Kashmir where population is very less , then why can't he construct a very improved roads from Udupi to Bangalore through Chikmagalur , Hassan .
May be considering the ecological impact on the Western ghats! But once this Bangalore to Mangalore highway is completed, it will be a breeze to reach Udupi!
Hi Anil, I visited in September and got an offseason discount rate of 7K per night for the entire Bungalow! You may check with them directly for current rates!
@@TheUrbanNomad Excellent video and commentary. Watching from the U.S. Hoping to visit Bangalore sometime in 2025.What is the driving time to Udupi? The beaches are awesome and could promote tourism.
@@blessingjohnchelliah4317 Thank you very much! I hope you like other videos of the Udupi series as well! Yes the beaches and beautiful and serene! It may take between 10-12 hours depending on various factors like rain, traffic and the route taken!
There is nothing greater feeling than the one you experience when you give happiness to your family. Especially to your parents.
True that Adarsh!
Your way of story telling is quite amazing
Thank you so much 😊

is it fine to visit udupi in june 2nd week will it be raining ?
It may rain a little bit, but could be visited!
I want to travel from bangalore to mangalore next week. I have never driven in the ghat section. Please help me with which road is better to drive..
Take Shiradi Ghat! Easy ghats
@@TheUrbanNomad thank you
You have a very good potential to cross 1 MN .
Best wishes
Thank you so much!
Very beautiful place.
It really is!
My personal suggestion. Please don't take Shiradi ghat until the road work is completed. Take Charmadi and Bisle instead 😊
Sir can we cross this road in night! In bike ...

Nice video. Any update on current condition of Shiradi ghat? For the first time, I am going to drive in ghats.
I am not sure about the current conditions! However, considering recent rains, this should still be the best route for Mangalore!

How many Ross -gullas do you eat every time ?
There are more than 200 types of Bengali mistis and Rossogolla is towards the end of the top 10 of my list! LoL
Price per day ?
We went during off peak season and it was 7500/N. Price will vary in season! Better check with them directly!
From Mangalore to Bangalore i prefer Shiradi ghat road because i want to see the NH progress from BC road to Hassan
Once the road is completed, it will be a breeze to reach Mangalore!
It's not Hasan it's haaasan
Thanks for correcting me! I will keep this in mind!
