> Hidden gem: A temple in the middle of a pond, plus a huuuge gowshala - Shri Pejawara Adhokshaja Matha, Udupi.
> Manipal end-point is accessible only for Manipal University staff and students.
> By far the best restaurant for authentic dosas in Udupi - Woodlands, missed this one.

> Another Hidden gem: Temple in midst of a dense forest - Kadiyali Mahishamardini Temple, Udupi. Walk down from the main temple to the Hanuman temple and the pond. Check Google images
@@XploreTheEarth - also witnessed Bhoota Kola yesterday (Kantara movie reference). Travellers could plan according to that as well. It happens at least 8-10 times at multiple temples in the city.

@@rahulanand3420 - it generally starts raining by May. So most probably it'd be nice at that time. Do check the weather forecast 2-3 weeks before coming

Hi. Just been to Udupi in Dec'23.We covered mosttt of the places you have mentioned. We stayed at the White Lotus hotel. We ate at Woodlands and MTR. Both are awesome.

The corporation bank museum is a delight, we understood every detail as the security guard acted as our guide and explained everything in detail 😊

U must visit UttaraKannada district near to udupi district in Karnataka here you can find several spots and adventure.

Oh, that’s fair. Travelling All the way here will be very difficult. So better to combine it with a longer trip that you can do on the coast. The season waste will start again after September, so you have some time to plan out your travels.

Is September mid-end a good time to visit?
Yes! it would be a great time. The monsoons would have receded with only occasional short showers. The weather will be very pleasant, cool and cloudy with lush greenery around you!
So definitely a great time to visit!
Is the july beginning is good time to visit?
It won’t be ideal to visit in July because because beaches will be closed for swimming and water, sports and activities will be closed down. Best is you visit after mid September when everything opens up.
Can we take bike for rental and ride it even though if we don't have licence??
Hey, as far as we know you won't get a bike without a Driver's License. Feel free to still check with the service providers we have mentioned in the video.

Any guide to public transport here?
Local bus netwrok runs through the city and takes you all the way to Mangalore easily.
But can’t take you to most of the tourist places directly.
You need to get an auto/cab/bike to reach those places, after getting down at the nearest bus stop from the place you want to visit.
Can be a hassle to find autos at some bus stops.

Yes
It will be rainy and the beaches will be closed, including the water, sports and the ferry to Saint Mary’s Island.
