Yet another incorrect video about replacing these arms! You MUST tighten the opposite end to the ball joint with the bushing loaded (ie with the weight of the car on it) otherwise you will just tear up the new bushing! 😡

Tranny with TC drain plug is newer 7g-tronic+. This being 2006, you have old one. Also, there are bunch of drains that like to clog. Once they do , water fills various cavities and sometimes ruin electronic boxes.

hmm, PS fluid for R-class is usually ATF-based (Q1460001), not CHF.

Hey, I have one of those. You were partly right, R500 did have ventilated rear brakes but for facelifted model (sporting 388hp 5.5L M273 engine). Looking forward to learn more.

Nice video. I'm trying to get my clutch to work again after a master res replacement and slave rebuild. The system can hold 30lbs of pressure all day. The lever feels good, but she just refuses to disengage the trans when I squeeze nor will roll with the clutch in and engine off. Wanna buy an 03 vtx ?

Excellent video. My R500 rear shocks started leaking fluid. This video gives me confidence to try and replace them myself. Did you need an alignment after replacing the shocks?

Can a bad pcv valve trigger a check engine light specifically for the 2014 tc scion?

Thanks, man. Yea, that release strap on driver side is a hew inches short, ya think? I used a wire to fish through the little strap by feel (couldn't see to do it), then pulled it up -- wa-la. Made a wire strap extension. Your vid helped me know where the latch was.

Question, anyone who knows... I bought a new PCV. I blew into one side horizontally (the way it is installed on my engine) and it had an air leak. Vertically, there was no air leak. I returned it and got another one, but the same issue? Maybe my lungs are not as strong as an engine! What do I do? Order another one? On my engine (2017 toyota camry) it is a difficult R&R.

Does the 07 vtx1300c have the same system?

Did the PCV replacement remedy the oil consumption issue? My friend just acquired a 2012 Camry with 250,000 miles. Runs great but oil was quite low on dipstick.

Absolutely love my 2012 camry se 2.5L, but she's low ecery oil change. Looks like a new pcv valve is in order! Time for a transmission filter drain/fill, brake bleeding, coolent flush, spark plugs, rotor and brakes, ac top off, lower control arms, sway bar links, altimator check, interior shampoo and deep clean, all at 150k. Caught the stutter issue in time and got the torque converter changed at 74k on the recall 1k short of the cut-off ! Oh and the dreaded front bumper bars that holds the sides in need to be replaced 😅

All I did was add fluid.Put new reservoir caps on VTX 1800N and then no clutch? Brake is fine

Isn't dialectric grease an INSULATOR? Meaning it doesn't allow the electrical circuit to connect? Neither ground nor power? Isn't dialectric grease meant to be used as a topical protection and not to be used between connections? Where am I wrong?

Really appreciate this thorough tutorial, i was able to change my voltage regulator within an hour an half just by following the steps you did. Meanwhile my first attempt was changing it from under the car and that took over 4 hours to do the first time around. You were right, it is much easier to do it from inside / top of the car!

Are you a mechanic or DIY ? A mechanic told me there are signs that your pcv valve is bad like high idling , oil leaks and air leaks . Are these signs a fool proof sure way to tell if pcv valve is bad ? I've got oil leaks btt not the other signs . Major pain to replace mine . I've got to take off imtake manifol and a few other things or pay a shop . 11 Camry 2ARFE 2.5 L It's right by the intake manifold and HYDRAULIC POWER STEERING PUMP . DO I NEED TO REPL:ACE IT ?

I used a box wrench to pull up on the latch pin. That pin has no head on it so, next time I will do the same.

The db rating is accurate. You cannot take a db rating inside a garage. The reverberations bouncing off the walls will amplify the sound level. Db is measured in a free air environment.

Did it affect your mpg(gas mileage)

I have the same bike after sitting over the winter my handle feels loose without much pressure on the clutch and I cannot operate it correctly including finding neutral even when squeezed in all the way do you think bleeding it would resolve this issue and make the clutch lever firm again?
