Guys please torque them with the torque ranch because it's easy to ruin the threads and I highly recommend to change the fluid with Red Line differential fluid, it will last a lot longer
Unfortunate there is no RL oil that will have MB approved spec for these differentials.

or could be the ball joints, i just replaced my lower ball joints and lower suspension link bushing and i rides way better now and no squeaks
The drain plug… does it have a compression washer? I think I remember reading somewhere that drain plugs should have at least a new compression washer when replaced, as old washers can sometimes leak. Same for drain plugs for engine oil. For the cost of a washer, I guess it’s a worthwhile precaution. But that’s maybe me being a bit obsessional, lol.

Actually Mercedes procedure is to replace the plug every time. But if it’s not leaking, I don’t believe you “need” to replace it.
@@dcfgarage I think it must be standard procedure. I’ve noticed when my car comes back from routine service the cost of new bolts is itemised on the invoice. I’d have to look up the past invoices to see exactly what items required new bolts (and I think washers), but they didn’t cost much (compared to the labour!). In years gone by I did most servicing myself. Maybe I should go back to that! I still have all my tools, so…
Bought a car and realized afterwards it probably hasn't have rear diff fluid changed ever. I'm gonna have some fun one of these days... 380000km and first diff fluid change 😂 fuck me

What are the symptoms of a bad differential ?
@@-stayblessed-8866whining or possibly grinding sound. There also may be play in the gears which you will hear when starting off from a stop.
