Thank You for doing this for us! I rented an "as is apartment" as stated in the lease. Moved in, fridge had flies in it and stove was dirty and would set off the firealarm. Walls had small nail marks and wasn't painted. Its all I could afford SO I moved in and plastered all of the holes and painted every single room. My land lord started painting his other units after that. Presentation is everything!

4 ... I don't want that house in that community. Maybe on greater acreage, I would score it higher. The finishes were predictable. No moldings, wainscotting, just a big white box with bits of marble ... nothing memorable.

That's one of the things that scared me in my 20s, watching my grandma get the rent raised on a fixed income. I saved and scraped to buy a home so that did not happen to me.
