I think such lists should separate re-released games, like make the list name only EXCLUSIVE games and/or gamest hat multiplaform but best on Dreamcast. I was "disappointed" that you put Shenmue #1 because it has superior version, so that place could be used for some exclusive Dreamcast game instead also i think some other games had re-relases on PC and modern consoles

OP, the only issue with dreamcast is for racing games right? otherwise for horror games and whaatver else games its fine? and going down as sega classics its fine for all gens?

Le Mans is 60fps btw. I remember playing it on a tiny 19" tv and it was as smooth as butter. Phantasy Star Online v.2 was my first EVER gaming experience online. I cherish the memories that game gave me. Especially the girl running away from me when i asked her what 'lol' meant :p Great times man.

Great video for technical reasons, but speak for yourself at 12:32. Imo they made the hunting and shooting worse in adventure 2. The shooting in 2 is much slower, more clunky and drags in places compared to Gamma's. Knuckles/Rouge's moves and feel is better than 1, but the one at a time radar artificially lengthens playtime. Even the mostly great speed sections are more closed off, ditched the euphoric spin dash jump and have less shortcuts. I'd rather play any big or amy level more than most of 2's shooting levels.

My Favourite: 1) Soul Calibur - The best version was on the Dreamcast: 2) Metropolis Street Racer - One of the finest Racers ever that defined what a racing game should be. "It's not about how fast you drive, but about how you drive fast": 3) Shenmue 1 and 2 - Just Simply Awesome: 4) Ready 2 Rumble - A highly playable and incredibly fun game to play: 5) Virua Tennis - Perhaps one of the best tennis games ever made: 6) F355 Ferrari Challenge - One of the purest racers to ever grace a video games console. Yes, it was hard, but it matured into a fine racer with experience and practice.

19:05 Why your record of Shenmue runs smoothly? I finished Shenmue 2 in my SEGA Dreamcast in 2001 or 2002 but it never ran this smooth!

MDK2 and Soul Reaver were both great looking games on DC. Not sure how they’re not on this list. I would have ranked Rayman 2 higher as well. I always thought it was one of the best looking. NHL 2K is another one that looked great.

I bought the Japanese release of the Dreamcast at an import store in Chinatown when it was released because I couldn't wait to play it. I was blown away at the visuals at the time, especially the framerates because there was nothing like it in terms of 3d graphics.

DOOM on SNES also required an additional chip...strange you didn't mention that, yet had to say VR on MD was running an extra chip and was the WORST version.....much like SNES DOOM is renowned for...

Rise of the tomb raider on Xbox 360 looks better then the last of us on the PlayStation 3, I would say it is the best looking game out of every Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game

World Driver Championship, that's a great racing game with arcade and simulation features, as well as really nice graphics, soundtrack, visual effects and gameplay that would put it on pair with Gran Turismo

Shenmue was the reason I bough the dreamcast, just absolutely incredible one of my favorite games I ever played.

I really like this controller, i personally think that it would be fine with most games on the Saturn but if you just want something for the Saturn go with something that has a better analogue stick or save some money and get one closer to the original. My only complaints are the small sticks, the digital triggers and the fact the C and Z buttons are automatically mirroring the L and R buttons. But for the most part this is a good classic Sega controller and I am happy I got one.

I've loved my Odin 2 very much. Like you, I'm enjoying a lot of gen 6, especially PS2... Playing through vice city again on a handheld just feels wonderful. That said, the state of MAME emulation is the only thing holding it back, but that's a knock on Android more than the Odin 2 as the existing Android MAME emulators just stink.

I actually think DC is better looking than PS2. Is more colorful and vibrant. Ps2 is dark and gritty to look at.
