Now hoarding alot of PS4s/DS4s for longevity, maintenance and spare parts. Sad I didn't grow up with the 3DS, Vita and PS3. Hope the CFW scene gets as healthy as the Vita and 3DS did.

Agreed with everything in this video! I got my NS Lite for a similar price and a grip case for it and it's been a pleasure trying out the Nintendo 1st party games I missed out on, like BoTW and Kirby. The combo of PS5 with PS+ Extra and NS Lite are keeping me satisfied, both of them have heavy hitters when it comes to 1st party titles.

I got my 2tb PS4 Pro for $300 in 2021 and I felt a little fomo for not saving more and going for a PS5 but at this point I’m happy with my decision as the PS4 is still getting every game I want to play and I don’t really like the direction Sony’s been heading with the PS5. I do want an upgrade so I decided to start building a PC so I can mod my favorite games and get even better performance that I would with a PS5. I’ll probably get one in the distant future when they’re cheaper because I want a 4K Player and a way to play games physically.

Does that include our favorite childhood game skylanders

I think that gamepass is still better u can play Xbox games and on ur phone tablet or whatever so even more portable and convenient.

Ngl I would say the 8th gen was a lot worse, I get the 9th was horrible with the start with people getting them and resellers but if we think about it the same thing happened in the 7th gen once the ps3 came out so it’s not the first time it’s happened, also with the no games I would say there’s been more games released to this generation that aren’t remasters than the previous gen, truthfully I would say gaming has been going down hill since the xbone and ps4. Also with the 9th gen the ps5 is the only one that still has some exclusives to only ps, currently of July 2024 Spider-Man 2, gt7 and a few others are still only on PlayStation and yeah it’s still on ps4 but from someone who has had a ps4 pro and a ps5 since launch the graphics are hands down so much better than a ps4, 120fps is hands down so much better than 60 fps once you go to 120 you can’t go back to 60 comfortably for competitive shooters and so on, the console loads games a hell of a lot faster than a ps4 (I kid you not it takes me 20 seconds at most to load gta online from just starting the game

This is easily the worst generation of my lifetime. I was born in 91 and started gaming very young at 4. My ps1 my dad jail broke it and made games at his job i had dozens and played almost all of them. My Gameboy and n64 also had a great library i still enjoy to this day. Ps2 and GameCube was one of the most legendary generations ever and lead into the wii, ps3 and 360 which might be the golden age at least for me. Then ps4 i started seeing the cracks there were great games but i had no desire to get an Xbox and my switch is probably the only thing getting used on a regular basis. The switch is literally saving this generation for me because i have less than ten games for my ps5. It's just so barren and the games are buggy and not worth the price they want.

the switch lite is so underrated, I've been meaning to make a video about it. Though it's not as obscure as the gameboy mini, I think it'll get a gameboy mini-like spike in popularity when people realize how sick they are.

There was really no solid reason to release an upgraded version. Hardware still capable of running 95% of new games at acceptable performance and quality.

Vita 1k supposedly has hall effect,i mean the 2k isnt a switch in drifting, but thats still nice

my ps5 and xbox series x both collect dust. i wish i still had my xbox 360 so i can play the great games on there. luckily i still have my ps2 so i've been playing that
