Just to give an idea of how crazy that Bichette proposal is.... BaseballTradeValues has Bo at 5.3, and Volpe at 39.4. lol I don't put that much stock in trade simulators, but they do hover around reality to a greater extent than the columnist who came up with that trade. lol With that said, I'd be down for Bo for a year at the right price. One of them could move over to 2b, and I think Bo is going to have a big bounce back year.

Hey Jason, Happy New Year's day. With regard to the Bichette trade. Incan't believe that the Sporting News would propose such a ridiculous trade. There is absolutely no way that Cash would consider a Volpe and Cabrera trade for Bichette. I am not sure of the dire need for a left-handed bullpen arm.. Of the 4 relievers that you mentioned Tanner Scott is the cream of the crop. However there is no way that I would offer him a contract worth $20 mil AAV. I am not a fan of Chaffin, I watched him for years with the Diamondbacks. He consistently demonstrated the inability to get lefty hitters out. The Dodgers have a core of elite lefty elite hitters. IMHO Chaffin would be ineffective against them. The KBO reliever is an unknown to me. Jis velocity isn't top tier. He had a cup of coffee at the MLB before his transition to the KNO. I question the quality of hitters he faced in Korea. He certainly doesn't peak my interest. Tim Hill is a proven talent in New York. His splits from the Sox to the Ysnkees were good. I don't believe that he would be an expensive bullpen acqusition and feel that he has more to give the Yankees. My non-left handed option is David Robertson. Throughout his career in and out of New York he has been a crafty strike out pitcher without elite velocity. He has shown the he can get either left if right handed hitters out. My final point is that D-Rob has demonstrated that he owns Ohtani, Betts and Freeman. Facing the Dodgers trio last season in back to back games he had 6 strikeouts versus them.
