Cats should not be given access to wildlife, especially intact, hybrid ones.

You won’t get a single bulb if you plant the cloves in the fall. You should have clothes the next summer and you don’t have to dig it up. in the fall, it starts to develop its root system and then send up shoots in the spring. You’ll have scapes in late spring, which you can harvest. You must cut these off to help develop larger bulbs. You should be able to harvest in the summer with cloves, it’s that easy. Remember, don’t plant it in the spring! That is when you get a single bulb that year and create more work for yourself, digging it up and replanting it is not necessary.

I'm 25 from Greece and this is what my backyard looked like when I was young. Pasturing chickens, food scraps and old bones, fruit trees and lots of chicken poop on anything cemented. We'd have chicken soup twice a week, the tastiest eggs ever everyday and never stress about buying most of our food in general. I took it for granted but after years being away I have to say I'd much rather go back to that. Glad to see you live out the life! Keep it up!

I dont eat meat anymore, but a do it yourself life style is best if you can do it. You done nature a favour. The creature was killed by accident i imagine. But the corpse would of attracted other animals that would feed on it or other deer that might have gone to it. That would of put them creatures in danger with the traffic. You took a piece for youself & left the rest to nature in a place away from traffic danger. You have done the other creatures & road users a favour really.

Good for you! We live in SW France in a very rural region and we find wild boar, pheasant and deer road kill all the time. We've had to buy another chest freezer to store it all. Waste not, want not I say! "Cracking"!? The system's f****d as far as I can see!

For a second I thought you were approaching a doggo! I bought a second hand freezer off a guy on gumtree, got talking, he says his mate works on an estate (no, not the council sort) and culls deer and his other mate butchers it, flogs it for practically nothing to friends and family. I got his number but have never had the courage to make the call 😢
