The Williams has better cranks than the Street Sweeper, that's about it. I'd say the forks are similar.

What the hell is a 1.5-piece steerer tube on the fork? Cinema 444 rims are pinned. It should have the 888 on the rear, at least.

Perfect bike for the serious novice or intermediate rider. I say the guy who's been riding for 2-3 years and really practices getting better. Definitely better than a beginner bike. Anybody approaching four to five years riding needs to be on a pro-level bike they built. Just my opinion.

Gotta have the sealed hub. Not only do they last longer once you get one you’ll be like “WOW THIS IS SO SMOOTH YOU CANT EVEN HARDLY HEAR THE HUB ANYMORE” 😂

Buy chain tensioners. Sure it’s not hard to tighten your chain. But each side lets also allows you to adjust the tire alignmentment at the same time. Also it locks the wheel in place so when you pedal hard nothing moves.

Been watching alot of your vids, 49 year old returning to bmx'ing after a 30 year hiatus. As a returning bmxer, I started looking at bikes and seen how much had changed, so I wasn't sure what I was looking for. The brands I knew and rode, Haro, GT, Redline, Diamondback, Dyno, Free Agent, were pretty much no longer the top dogs, alot of the brands were pretty much no where to be found. Anyway, started watching you vids and the Kink Whip kept coming up, so I did the research using your guidelines and decided to pull the trigger on a 2025. Great choice...a little heavier than I like, but the bike feels solid as a rock. I'm currently working on some upgrades to lighten it up a little. Recently purchased some Sun Ringle rims, (Sun rims were around back then, so a name I was familiar with) Profile elite hubs (another brand I'm familiar with) Oddesey 49er 4 piece bars (could never really go wrong with Odyssey back in the day) Eclat tires, (never heard of Eclat, but it sounded French and fancy) Still have a few choice parts I'm going to upgrade, but its a start. Anyway, thanks for what you're doing with your channel, us returning bmxers need guys like you doing research and giving ratings.. My next bike I'm already planning is going to be an S&M ATF or Dagger (really glad to see S&M still around) haven't decided which, but already gathering parts. Anyway thanks for what you're doing. 👍👍 Btw....whatever happened to chrome bikes, doesn't look like too many companies offer that option anymore 😢 Back then if you had a chrome bike, you were automatically the cool kid on the block...😂

I think if you don't have a bike fine buy a complete one, if you do own a bike start building from an aftermarket frame, they will always feel like cheap Taiwan trash

I've got some stranger Crux Excel rims turns out they're too wide for my brakes. Do I need new brakes where do I need a new frame where do I just have to go back to my skinny rims

I got the kush2 and have been beating the ever loving shit outta that bike. I'm 6'2" 225lbs and pushing 40 yrs old, i wanted to get back into riding street since my city has built a shitton of new stuff I've been wanting to hit , I figured since i havent rode in awhile and didnt wanna drop $500+ on a bike, I thought i would be done riding again within weeks, NOPE! It's been 3 years since I knocked the dust off and earlier I went ahead and drop some coin on a CULT frame that my local shop had on sale and bought. My opinion on the kush.....if your lookin to hit basic tricks and just have fun its a good bike, if ya wanna go big and be the first to land a 1080 quad Flip (imagine that!) this bike just ain't sick enough. Yea it's a decent entry level bike but use it to learn the basics. I tried tailwhippin a 5 set staircase and had to muscle the bike to get it to come back around way too much. At my size I have never had problem gettin the bike around, the kush almost sent me to an early grave last year

Hi! Just started getting back into BMX. I filled out your page and waiting to hear what your suggestion is on type of bike would be best for me. I don’t wanna make the mistake of buying the wrong bike as I see things have changed A LOT since I last have ridden over 20 years ago lol. Look forward to riding again tho.

For me 20.7-21 toptube is good for me im 5'7.

Very first time on a portable pump track, didnt notice that the little entrance ramp was practically waxed pollished metal and i entered a little too much at an angle which caused the front tire to slip out and i crashed pretty hard bruising my ribs.

I recommend Fiend Garrett Reynolds bars they come in 27” wide so you don’t have to cut them down or if you’re a tall person I recommend the Shadow vultus SG bars in 11” rise 👍🚲💨

i don’t think the 2023 version has an integrated headset.

What bike is that

I went from loving the sound of a loud cassette to the complete opposite the cassette is fun in its own way but having the quiet bike is a plus for me especially when it comes to sneaking around

Sounded expensive

35 years old. 5'9". 230lbs and i ride a 20" bmx for fun most days. I can pump 24 mph!!

I just hate the idea of 29 inch bmx with "freestyle heritage" double top tubes etc. 2nd inch is NOT bmx. And adding top tubes etc does not make it one or even look like one. And I own a 24 inch (single top tube lol).

My BackTrail X3 Nyquist from around 2003 is a heavy beast with upgraded original Odyssey Hazard wheel set with 4 sealed bearings per hub. It's not the easiest to do tricks on nowadays but it's never going to break.
