I am currently transitioning to a trike after 50+ years on two wheels and really enjoy and learn from your videos. Being an Army retiree myself, I am guessing that at one point early in your career you were a platform instructor. I am a subscriber as of today.

If you turn off the trike to shut off reverse remember your trike will still be in neutral which could be a bad thing if you're parked on a slant no matter how minor.

I wanted to be different I put a champion sidecar on my 99 Electric Glide,only down side i need a 45lb bag of pellets to hold sidecar down when I make right hand turns,otherwise its great lots of comment when I’m on it☮️😎

It is NOT a " trike motorcycle!" It is a motorized tricycle. A motorcycle has 2 wheels, a tricycle has 3 wheels.

Adding a riders backrest also greatly reduces that feeling of falling off in a curve. It acts as an anchor point for your back that you can lean back into, and it 'roots' you into the saddle in a turn.

Very interesting video. I like that you included the Yamaha Tricity and Piaggio MP3. In the UK and Europe these are great for city riding and you can ride them on a normal car drivers licence without taking a separate motorcycle test.

I road HD 2 Wheeler Bike since the mid 70’s. Now, I Owen a trike because I had 8 heart attacks and 4 Mild Strokes now I wear a pacemaker and I enjoy riding my trike with my homies.!. So, Don’t bash those who love to ride.!!!!. 😊🎉🍎🙏🏽👍🏽

It's been over 15 years since I've owned a black helmet or jacket. Dark colors get hotter under the sun. I'd rather be cool than look cool. Stick to white.

There are many hazards for motorcycles on the roads. Since you never know what is going to happen next, I ALWAYS look for escape routes in case of unexpected circumstances, and alternate escape routes just in case. While running into a corn field is not something you look forward to, it beats running into a Peterbuilt grill. Dirt is softer than steel. It might save your life.

As an ER physician I switched to a Can-Am Spyder. Three wheels is so much safer than two. And you will be riding longer with your trike. Because you are more likely to retain all your limbs!

Another great and informative video! I have an old 1988 Vmax trike and I fitted beepers in my headlight to the indicators so I can hear when they are on. Most cars do not seem to have this feature so I wait until a vehicle starts to turn before I pull out. As my late Father told me "treat every other road user as if they are idiots" and this has saved me many times.
