My wife didn't feel comfortable on a two-up Harley and suggested we test rode a Tri-Glide , long story short we purchased the 120th anniversary Tri-Glide and we've been very happy with our choice. Balance being the primary reason for the choice . Now I can honestly say two-up fully loaded with gear I don't worry about road conditions , bad weather, slow parking in sand, rocky driveways , slopes ETC. Sandman thank you for your content.
Thank you so much Sandman- trike rookie ( Honda Valkirye) here ,still struggling a bit ,getting used ,but little by little I will get it - mych much different than my ex 2 wheels bikes .Thanks to your educative videos my transition from 2 to 3 wheels will be easier. Greetings from US Virgin Islands! Let's ride!
I bought a 2023 Triglide so my wife can ride with me again. We both are very happy with the trike. Very comfortable ride, handling is not a problem. Sandman offered some good advice on turning and just riding a trike. I still have a two wheel bike, but my first choice to ride is now the trike.
Sandman, thanks for your videos. They're really insightful and inspiring. Last year I went for my beginners Motorcycle License and got a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 500 EN. On my 1st long ride, I went down with the bike, got back up and kept riding. Problem with that bike, couldn't put my wife on the back (I'm a chonky boi at 5'9" 300lbs). Just the other day, I signed the paperwork to trade in the Vulcan and switch to a 2020 Harley Davidson Freewheeler. My wife has already sat on the back and we're both looking forward to riding this season and putting a ton of KMS on the trike. Love from Canada brother.
Nice job in comparing and contrasting the 2. I am currently working through when will I transistion to three wheels, thanks for the insight. Also Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Hey Sandman great channel. Do you know of anyone that is doing serious track time woth a trike. I sm a 64 yr old retired Army vet,, Airborne! So I'm not trying to do any track antics myself. just wanted to watch so.e pro do it. thx
I came across was guys discussing how hard it is to turn and the a the effort it takes. Was looking for info on widening the front forks to fit a car tyre, MT 35x12.5r20 all around. Is this possible without breaking the bank? Thanks
Anything is possible with fabrication. I do not have information on the cost of widening the front fork to accommodate a wider tire. Sorry. Thanks for watching.
I just switched from a motorcycle to a trike. Steering it has been the hardest part for me to get used to. When I ride on the highway, strong wind gusts tend to push me a little to the left and right, making steering a little difficult. Any tips on this for a new trike rider?
Strong winds can create problems for a rider. A constant wind from the side can make challenging. Gusty winds are the worst. Keep the motorcycle on the side of the lane the wind is coming from. This is in case a big blast moves you over a bit. Expect it and be ready to react. Thanks for watching.
The dealers need to do a better job of explaining turning on a trike. Too many reviews talk about how hard it is to turn. It’s always because they try and muscle it through the turns. The big pluses I find additionally are gravel roads no worries , cattle guards the bigger rear end makes it easier for cars to see.
The only reason YOU would. Funny that cruisers were the central part of the anti-establishment, non-conforming movement. About freedom of expression and individuality. And the very same people talk down other peoples rides and choices if they dont conform to their views on what they ride. Ride your ride. Peoples opinion on what i ride is none of my business.

My wife would never ride on a 2-wheeler but will ride on the Freewheeler. I appreciate it. Thanks for watching.
Well done!
Thanks for watching.
Props. I had to switch to three wheels because my balance is no longer good. I cannot even ride a non-motorized bike without falling.
I'm glad you're still riding. Stay in the wind.

That would be an awesome event, King of the Trikes race. I don't know of anyone doing track videos with a trike. Thanks for watching.

Trikes can go where two-wheels dread. Thanks for watching.
😎👍👍

Hate trikes. The only reason to ride one is some sort of disability or old age.
