I live in Texas. Last year it was over 100 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 June, July, and August. For me, that's too hot, regardless of what I wear. I only ride before 10am in the summer.
Good advice but sorry I am old school and in the winter I wear more and in the summer I wear less. This has worked for me for over 50 years as there wasn't any of this fancy gear back then.

@@sandmanrides4318 We are lucky in Wales as we can ride on mountain roads or main roads that lead to the same place. Thank you for your videos on how to ride a trike as I have had to convert from a motorcycle to three wheels. Ride safe my freind.
It's been over 15 years since I've owned a black helmet or jacket. Dark colors get hotter under the sun. I'd rather be cool than look cool. Stick to white.

100° is not unusual.
At 100 the air is basically a convection oven.
Mesh gear with some water poured on it will cool you off.

Do they make dot helments that don't fog up I haven't found one yet but any surgeons be appreciated
