    Great video and I think the paint on your Freewheeler is awesome. I’m looking at a good backrest though. That one looks great.

      The Snake Venom paint is awesome because it changes colors from green to purple. I refused to get a backrest for the longest and when I did I kicked myself. Best buy I made. Thanks for watching.

    Grips are the first mod I do. Using the Ciro highway pegs on ours. Have a Mustang seat now. With the stock seat have used a Grasshopper rider backrest. Passenger armrest on the sissy bar.

    I added an S&S 475 cam chest replacement, mini stealth teardrop air cleaner, Vance & Hines power dual header, V&H 4.5' high output slip ons, power commander 5 tuner, dyno tuned. Feuling vented dipstick. I did add a Mustang seat that I'm not all that thrilled with. May check in to your seat mod. Also would like a recommendation on some better shocks (not air ride) You can definitely make your Freewheeler run and sound as good as any Harley out there. I love mine. Thanks for the videos.

      Those are all great modifications. I find that seat modifications are trial and error. It's unfortunate we can't test-ride a seat before buying one. Thanks for watching.

    Hello. I happen to be very comfortable with my factory bars. My seat is also comfortable for me. I did add the removable back rest for me. It also leans back and forth, making it very comfortable. I also upgraded my grips too. What I don't like is the stiff rear end. There is NO bounce at all. I want to put longer shocks on, but a lift kit is not going to do much as far as I can see. Need to take some off the catalytic converter so that I have room with the swing arm for bounce. I have to do some research on this one. But, I did enjoy your video. If I decide to make a long ride then I will probably get a 16 inch removable windshield, black.

      Sounds like a plan. I've seen people add brackets to lower the rear end and replace the shocks with high-end shocks for a smoother ride. I adjusted the pre-load setting on my shocks and have no issues. Thanks for watching.

      @@sandmanrides4318 Hi Sandman. Thanks for your comment. On that thought, my weight is 180 pounds, and I am at zero (0) on the pre-load setting with the factory Harley shocks. There is no negative adjustment, only if you weigh more than 180 and you can turn to adjust for the higher weight to stiffen it. I have no idea why Harley put these shocks on this way after all the time they must have spent on lab testing and actually riding. Everyone has given me a different shock/system advice on this, but everyone agrees with one thing, the factory shocks suck. LOL Again, enjoy your video mucho. Safe Riding. Gary

    Great job Air Borne. If you get a chance check out the Legend trike rear air ride. It is not the fast up kind but it will not take any trunk space and it is adjustable for your load on the go. Great Video.

    Hi Sandman, do you suggest the Impact Gel or memory foam for the seat? Thank you!!

    • @sandmanrides4318
      @sandmanrides4318  4 месяца назад

      I can't say since I've only used memory foam and not the impact gel. MY friend swear by the impact gel. I guess it will be a personal choice. Thanks for watching.

      @@sandmanrides4318 Thank you, mean city cycle suggested the memory foam as well and I ordered the seat. Now I am on the schedule and I am excited 🙂 I appreciate your insights and videos. Having my face in the wind again with a freewheeler after a stroke disturbed my balance and blew me off the motorcycle... As you always say, Keep on riding

    What type bars give the best handling overall,function more than looks.😮

    • @sandmanrides4318
      @sandmanrides4318  9 месяцев назад

      That is very subjective. You have to try out the bars that fit your riding style, posture and comfort. My stock bars were too low so I got higher bars to improve my comfort. Thanks for watching.
